Chapter 5

I sit in my last period of the staring at the clock on the wall. Junior year should be exciting, full of friends and romance, but no. I'm stuck studying my ass off for college and the rest of my life in hell. Just like that my mood has dropped, wow Jade way to ruin a good day. As I was mentally slapping myself a hand touched my shoulder. "You're really funny if you think that new boy is yours. He'll realize how much of a skank you are like everyone else did. He's already mine, so I'd just quit now while your semi ahead." Rachel whispers to me with a devil's smirk on her face. I should have known better than to try and make a new friend or something more. Everything I care about gets ripped away from me so why care anymore? I won't. The bell signals the end of the day and I walk out of my classroom and head to my car. I see Daniel walking towards me and then I notice Rachel shooting me a death glare from across the parking lot. Ohh crap, i'm screwed. He stops me before I close my car door and asks "Since i'm new I don't actually know of a coffee place around here. Any suggestions?"

I look at him one good time before deciding. "Yeah, there's a Starbucks in our mall. Why don't I just drive us?"

"Sounds good to me beauty" That smile he wears has me at a loss for words, and breath. He jumps in and I start my car and head towards the mall. Oh boy am I going to pay for
this tomorrow. Might as well enjoy today.
