~~Lauryn's POV~~

I was just an ordinary Thursday for me. I woke up around 6:30 am to get ready to go to college, then I got out of college at 4:00 pm, and had to be at work at 5:00. Thursday's were always so hectic for me.

I arrived at work at 4:55 pm. I walked into the kitchen and placed my purse on the back table. I walked around seeing what needed to be done. As I was chopping onions, I began listening to the radio.

"Up next we will be doing the 5 o'clock countdown. Remember keep track of all 5 songs, be caller number 8 and you will win the big mystery prize!! But, now for a commercial break."

As I finished up chopping the onions, I decided to check my Instagram. No new notifications; which wasn't upsetting, because I only post every so often. I continued to look through what the people I was following posted. A few friends posted some 'throwback Thursdays' and stuff like that. I continued scrolling until I stopped at a picture a One Direction fan page posted. It was a picture of all the guys, posing for a magazine picture.

'Oh man! He's so cute!' I began to think to myself.

I've always thought that Louis Tomlinson was definitely one of the cutest members of the boy band.

"Alright. Time to start our 5 o'clock countdown!! Song number one." I heard the radio say.

I then heard Counting Stars by One Republic start playing. I ran over to the tablet of papers, tore off a piece, and began to write down the songs.

As the song was playing, the cashier handed me a piece of paper with a customer's orders written on it. I began making the 2 hamburgers with a side of fries. I finished making the order and took it to the cashier. I ran back to the kitchen to clean up my mess.

While cleaning, I heard the song come to an end. "That was Counting Stars by One Republic. Next song is...." He was then interrupted by the music playing.

I listened to the song begin to play and had no idea what the song title was. I just continued cleaning.

'Oh wait!! Isn't this Roar by Katy Perry?' I thought to myself. I caught myself nodding my head. I then ran over to the paper and wrote down the song.

As I was waiting for the song to end, I saw I had a few customers that were waiting to have their order taken. I grabbed the pen and paper as I walked up to them.

"How may I help you?" I asked in my sweet voice, showing a small smile.

"Can we get two chicken strip dinners? One with fries and the other with tots." The women, who looked to be in her mid-thirties replied.

"Yes. Is that all?" I questioned. She nodded her head. I walked into the kitchen and began to make her order. That's when I noticed the next song was already halfway through.

'Crap!!' I shouted to myself.

"You know the words to my songs

No habla inglés

Our conversations ain't long

But you know what it is

I know what the girl them want, London to Taiwan

I got lipstick stamps on my passport

I think I need a new one." The song played through the radio.

"Oh I love this song," said Shane, the cashier that was working with me.

"What's the name of it then?" I practically shouted at him.
