Chapter 8: Jealousy..

~~Ashton's POV~~

"What? More guys?" the girl next to Harry asked, as she came to a halt.

"What's wrong with more guys?" Michael asked, a bit sadly.

As she turned around, my heart stopped. She was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. Even with her hair in a messy bun and baggy sweats. She is absolutely beautiful.

"Uhh, nothing.." she replied, with a shy smile.

"My name is Calum." Calum announced as he stuck out his hand.

"Lauryn." She replied, as she shook his hand.

"I'm Michael. This is Luke, and that is Ashton." He introduced as he pointed to each of us. "And, we are 5 Seconds of Summer."

"Oh my gosh. I know you guys. You guys are absolutely amazing!" another girl said, walking through the crowded hallway. "I'm Skylar by the way."

"Awwh, thank you." I replied with a smile. "And, who might you be?"

"I'm Lauryn." the girl with her hair in a messy bun said.

As she had her hand out for me to shake, I replied, "I don't do handshakes," as I pulled her into a hug. Hugging her sent fireworks through my entire body. I definitely did not want to let her go.

"Hey guys! We were on our way to meet you," Harry interrupted our hug.

As we pulled away, she tried to hide her face, but I saw the blush creeping up. 'Man, she is so cute.' I thought to myself.

"We know. Figured it would be easier to meet you guys at your hotel room." Michael replied. "Where are we going for brunch?"

"We need to get Lauryn some clothes of her own," Louis announced as he pointed to Lauryn, who was playing with the shirt she was wearing that appeared to be Harry's. "And, Skylar has to go back home today, so we are taking her to her hotel."

We all nodded. "So, Ihop?" Niall asked.

Everyone busted out laughing, "Yes, Niall, Ihop works!" Liam replied.

~~Lauryn's POV~~

After we all agreed on going to Ihop for brunch, we piled into the elevator, heading to the van.

"Skylar, can I speak to you?" I asked as the elevator doors opened, indicating we made it to the lobby floor.

"Yeah, sure." She replied.

As everyone exited, we told the boys to go wait by the front desk.

"Skylar, is there any way that you could stay with us? Because me with nine boys is going to get pretty hectic. I am going to need some help from you." I tried persuading.

"Let me call my mom really quickly. But, no promises." Skylar replied, as she took out her phone and walked down the hallway.

As Skylar was talking on the phone, one of the boys we just met, I believe his name is Ashton, came to check on us.

"Hey, is everything alright, Lauryn?" he asked.

"Oh, yes. Skylar just had to call her mom really quickly." I replied.

"Oh, just making sure everything is okay." he said, looking at the ground a bit shy, "I'm sorry about the hug earlier."

I let out a little giggle, "It is perfectly fine."

He looked up at me with a huge smile. "I'm going to go wait with the other boys."

I just nodded my head in agreement.

As he walked back to the other boys, I couldn't stop staring, he kept looking back at me and smiling.

'What is up with him?' I thought to myself, 'What is up with all of th...' Skylar scared me from my thoughts.

"So, what is going on between you two?" She asked, as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Um, nothing. He was just making sure we were okay." I replied, she just rolled her eyes at me. "Whatever. What did your mom say?"

"She said that my brother called and said he has to wait until Tuesday to come home. So, I can stay!" She announced.

"YAY! YAY! YAY!" I instantly began jumping up and down.

"When are you going to tell Niall?" I questioned.

"Now, otherwise, I will be at my hotel in about 20 minutes." She replied, with a 'duh' tone.

I gave her a small shove. "Let's go tell the boys then, loser." I said.

We started walking to where the boys were, Niall saw us first.

"Bout time you guys show back up! I'm starving over here!" Niall announced.

"Oh hush, Irish boy. Skylar has some good news. But, you can't hear it if you don't stop thinking about food." I replied. All the boys started laughing; Niall just crossed his arms.

Everyone continued laughing, Zayn being the first to calm down. "Well, what is the news?" Zayn asked.

With Zayn's question, the other boys quieted down.

Skylar and I looked at each other and smiled widely.

"The news is...." I began, looking back at the boys, whose faces were covered with anxiousness.

"I. GET. TO. STAY...." Skylar started to finish, but was interrupted by Niall practically tackling her to the ground.
