Seven

I opened my optics slowly to hear a light snoring, I couldn't figure it out till I rubbed my optics. I looked down to see that I was on top of a sleeping Optimus. I blushed madly and stayed still, I had no idea on what I should do. Optimus then vented making me tighten my grin on his chest plates so I wouldn't fall off from the berth, I saw Optimus opening up his optics so I quickly closed mine and laid back down on him pretending to still be recharging.

I felt Optimus stretch and then tense up. I then felt him vent once more, I almost slipped off from his chest until I felt a hand grab my waist, I tried not to move as much as I could but having Optimus's hand on my waist was getting to me. Optimus moved me back onto his chest and grabbed my hand. "Why do you make me feel this way Nightfall." He whispered. I blushed and buried my face onto his chest plates before he could see me, "I know you're awake." He said letting out a small chuckle. Scrap... I picked up my face and half smiled, "You know everything don't you Orion." I said chuckling. "It's pretty early, would you want to go for a ride before the others wake up?" Optimus suggested, a slight blush creeping up to his face. A blush, on Optimus.. on The Optimus Prime. "Sure" I said getting off Optimus and running to the main control room.

~Le Time Skip~

Optimus and I were driving close to each other. I don't know why but being near Optimus made me feel special. We soon stopped in the back of an abandon gas station and transformed to our regular selves setting down and leaning onto the small gas station.

"So Nightfall, would you like to be an Autobot and fight by me?" Optimus asked looking into my optics. I looked shocked, I wasn't sure if I wanted to become one. Knockout and Megatron are Decepticon while Optimus and his team are Autobots. "Optimus...I'm happy you asked me but I don't know. I mean Megatron is a Decepticon, I can't just fight him." I said breaking eye contact and venting. Optimus grabbed my hand and locked his fingers with mine, he grabbed my chin and made me look at him, "it was just a question Night, it's ok you don't have to say yes." He said calmly.

I usually don't show any emotions or reactions with other transformers but when I'm near Optimus I just can't control myself. I quickly tried to change the subject, "I've noticed that Megatron is not him anymore." I said. "His greed and wanting power has taken over him, the Megatronus that we once knew is no more." Optimus vented and looked away, "Yea, I've noticed." I said venting as well.

Optimus stood up and held out his hand for me to grab, I grabbed it and pulled myself up. "So Optimus, have you ever raced before?" I asked smirking. "No" he said shrugging. "Optimus, you need to find a way to have fun rather than stick your face into a computer or book!" I said playfully punching his arm.

"Nightfall you know I have duties to do." He stated, he started walking to who knows where. "Well, what about we race back to the base?" I asked putting my hands onto my hips. "If I race will I be able to put my face into a computer and book again?" He asked, smirking. "Yea yea I'll let you become your boring self again." I said laughing.

I transformed into my vehicle before Optimus could, he stared at me for awhile until he looked away, he then proceeded to transformed and drove up next to me.

"I'll take it easy on you big fella." I said laughing making my engine rumble. "Bring it" he said starting his engine. Note to self: Optimus Prim is fragging fast for a big vehicle like him

I sped through the street with Optimus right behind my heels. "Wow Optimus your faster than I imagined." I said speeding up. "It's a gift." He answered catching up to me. We were laughing until I heard the sound of metal colliding and a grunt of pain. I braked and turned around to see a red sports car crash into Optimus.

Since we were racing in the canyons, the two vehicles rolled down the side of the canyon until both transformed showing Optimus struggling with the now transformed sports car. Scrap... Everything went silent when the two transformers hit the ground.
