Ten

Optimus's PoV

I opened my optics to see Knockout rapidly shaking me. I sat up slowly groaning from the sudden pain in my chest. "Optimus! Get your arse up and call your team!" I heard Knockout say with worry and anger in his voice. I laid back down slowly and grunting, having a hole through your chest really is a pain in the arse. I didn't understand why Knockout couldn't call his team but I pushed the thought to the side.

I placed my hand over to my ear and pressed my new communicator. ::O...Optimus to base. Do y....you copy.:: I asked groaning in between words. ::Optimus! What happened you sound hurt!:: Ratchet's voice asked worriedly. ::send in a gro...groundbride now:: I managed to say. Knockout tried to help me up but it was no use, the missiles struck me many times and made lot of damaged on me.

A portal soon opened besides me, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, and Bulkhead came running. "Optimus what happened?" Arced came running and leaned next to me. Bulkhead came close and saw Knockout near me and turned his hands into guns. "Knockout!" He yelled aiming at him, "Put those down! I didn't do this to him Silas did! He took Nightfall for primus sakes!" Knockout yelled, all this talking and yelling just made my head hurt even more.

"We need to go get h...her back." I said in a low voice grunting once again in between words. I tried to sit back up but Ratchet put his hand over my chest and pushed me back down slowly. "We? There is no WE in this mission! For primus sakes Optimus you have a whole in your chest! We need to get you back." Ratchet insisted.

"R...Ratchet. We need to get her back. I...I need her to be safe." I said groaning, this time successfully getting up as slow as I could. Ratchet gave me a hand to help with support, "we will search for her tomorrow, just please Optimus, we have to make sure you are alright." Ratchet said walking towards the still open portal. Knockout followed us until Bulkhead and Arcee stopped and pointed their guns at him, "no can do Knockout." Arcee growled.
"You and your stupid rules, fine meet me back here tomorrow at one sharp. Optimus we need to get her back." He said, that last part with anger and venom in his voice. "I will find her and get her back Knockout." I said leaning onto Ratchet for support. "You better." He mumbled, he turned back into his vehicle mode and rode off.

Back at the base

"Optimus, you will not leave this base until you recover. Those missiles were deathly close to your spark!" Ratchet protested. "I know Ratchet but, I need to make sure shes safe." I said laying down on the medical berth.

"Optimus, it's Nightfall, she can get through anything by herself. She will manage but until then you must recover." He said examining the wound. "Ratchet you don't understand, it's Silas. Who knows what he will do to her if I don't help her." I said rubbing my optics. "I understand what Silas is capable of Optimus but for Primus sakes just worry about yourself for once!" Ratchet yelled. I stayed quiet for I didn't want to get Ratchet more upset, he was merely doing what a soldier would do to his leader.

I just hope to Primus that Nightfall will be alright.

Knockout'a PoV

I arrived at the airship to see an unpleasant face. "Where in the hell were you!?" Starscream demanded. "Well someone's angry." I said with sarcasm in my voice. "You were called by Megatron!" He said, my optics grew wide. "Why did he need me?" I asked. "I don't know but he sent me to go look for you." He said.

I walked through the airship to see Megatron in the main room talking to Soundwave. "Lord Megatron, did you want to see me?" I asked bowing slightly. "Where were you." He demanded looking into my optics with his well known deathly glare. "I was with Nightfall my lord." I said not breaking optic contact. "Where is she?" He hissed, "my lord, she was taken by the human known as Silas, the one who captured Breakdown a few months ago." I said making my hands into fist. "We were driving until Optimus came into view and crashed into me, then while we were injured Silas came and took Nightfall. The Autobots arrived and told me to meet them back at the area at one sharp." I would tell him the truth but knowing Megatron he will rip my spark out. "We will meet with the Autobots there at that time and go save Night, then while Optimus is injured we will ambush him and his team." Megatron said with his back to me. "Yes my lord." Was all I said before I went into the lounge where I saw Breakdown drinking some energon.

"Yo Knocks where have you been and damn what in the hell happened to you? You look like scrap!" Breakdown said, I growled. "For your information I was attacked by Silas!" I growled back. "That excuse of a human attacked you? How are you still in piece?" He asked shocked. "Well first of all I'm not, I have bullet holes and a broken door. And second of all, Silas took Nightfall and we need to get her back before anything happens to her." I said in Breakdown's face. "I'm in." He said drinking from the bottle that was filled with energon.
