"Tyler. Wake up! Come on, Tyler! You are going to be late! TYLER!"

Before I could even respond with a groan at Katie's words, a large and oddly shaped foot had hit with a strong force against the side of my face, springing me awake. And cursing its very existence.

"WHAT TH-" I shouted, as Katie stopped me half way, placing her shoe back on her foot whilst giggling.

"Serves you right. Making me late along with you on the first day, after I spend over 2 minutes trying to get your butt up! Honestly!" She huffed, pulling down her short frilly skirt before blowing me a stupid kiss and waving me a stupid goodbye. Since I was sitting up though, I decided to take in my surroundings. My clothes were all of the floor, drink cans and pieces of paper were scattered over the floor, and it was 8am.

IT WAS 8AM.

Muttering unhappy words under my breath, I ran continuously from my bathroom to my bedroom, grabbing products to wear, jeans and a shirt and brushing my teeth at the same time. As I pulled my polo shirt on, Mom decided to shove a piece of buttered toast into my mouth, nearly making me choke - before laughing at me, and pulling out a orange juice carton from her back jean pocket and handing it to me.

I looked at her in confusion, before popping in the straw and slurping it, as I grabbed my backpack and hopped into my sneakers.

"Why do you always appear like that all the time? You're like a walking breakfast." I stated, cramming my foot into the other shoe.

"Well, I will just take that as a compliment. Since I am a yummy mummy." She grinned, making me cringe horribly at her comment and rush out of the room as soon as.

"Tyler! You can't run away that easily! Katie's gone!" Mom huffed, before coming up behind me again and whispering in sing-song: "With the car~!"

Which made me stop halfway down the stairs and laugh. What a joke, I thought, thinking about Katie actually driving after she barely passed before.

I continued my way down, before bumping into Kai, the third youngest Fox, at the front door, who was smiling creepily.

Which is something he never did...unless I was in trouble.

"She actually went, didn't she?"

"Yep!" He chuckled, before pointing at the clock. "And you only have 15 minutes left~! And all the buses are gone~!" He sang idiotically (which is something everyone seemed to be doing), before I shoved him in annoyance; just before the door rustled open.

"Mother! I'm home!"

The sweet, fake voice was enough to make me and Kai both shudder in thought and break up the pre-argument.

"Daniella." We groaned dreadfully in unison.

The door swung back to reveal her in all her full on glory. Her face was the usual face of makeup, with the addition of a weird nude lipstick. Her hair was all dark, messy and curly; with blonde highlights like it usually is, and she was covered in designer names from head to toe. She gleamed her bright cosmetic white smile and sprinted towards us, before we could even get a running start.

"How are my fourth and fifth favourite little brothers doing today?!" she squealed, pinching our cheeks in amusement - nearly scarring our faces with her sharp, red knives for nails.

"How about... you try not to kill us... and maybe I will do the same!" I moaned as I battled with the red knives before pushing her off of me victoriously. Kai, however, was still a boy and was forced to succumb to Daniella and her craziness.

"Ok! OK! Let me go! I need to live so I can get an education so I can become a lawyer so I can sue you for abuse!" He squealed as she tightened her grip on him, with a menacing smile.
