When I get to the park I immediately strap Airy into her baby seat, grab the diaper bag, and stuff my wallet, keys, and phone in there. Then I go to the trunk and let my three dogs out. They run straight to the gate waiting for me to come and open the gate for them. I run as quick as I can to the gate with all my stuff and open the first gate, take off all their leashes, and then open the second gate and then walk to one of the picnic tables up on hill and sit down and sigh.
I hear my phone ringing incessantly but can't find it at first. When I do find it, it says ''😍😍🙈🙈HARRY 😍😍🙈🙈". But I don't answer. I'm still mad as hell at getting laughed at for taking pity on my ex and his daughter! So what if I'm nice once in awhile none of us are perfect! But whatever that's life! Shit happens!
Ugh why is life complicated! I decide to look at my phone and it says five missed calls from "Harry", and two from my best friend Maria. I decide to call her and find out what she wants. She picks up on the second ring. "Hey Ari! I saw the pics from last night what happened" she immediately starts peppering me with questions. I try and fail to slow her down and then I just tell her I'm at the dog park and she decides to come and bring her dog a pit bull named Sage. Who is the sweetest, bestest, baby girl that there ever was! Her and my baby Tucker are best friends and love each other so much!
When Maria gets here about ten minutes later she doesn't recognize me because the baby that's strapped onto my chest and the clothes that I'm wearing. She takes out her phone and calls me to see where I am, not even realizing that I'm legit right next to her. She jumps when she realizes that I'm next to her on the picnic table.
"What the hell Airy! What are you doing there?! Did you go drinking without me and come home with somebody's kid?!" She says while laughing all the while.
"Haha yeah right! No this is my ex's kid. He looked like he was about to die while holding her earlier when I was at the mall and I decided to take pity on the poor little baby girl in his arms. Plus, when he saw me he started coming toward me and I couldn't exactly run away at that point."
"Well it could be worse for you I guess. At least his daughter's cute." She says all why holding Arabella and looking petrified whilst doing it.
I'm gonna clue y'all in on something funny. For whatever the reason is she doesn't get along with children all that well and is terrified of children. I on the other hand am completely fine with them have a bunch of little first cousins and second ones. I've never had a problem with them nor them with me.
After about an hour and a half we round up all the dogs and decide to go back to Jim's house then to either her or my place.
Once at Jim's we pull up in front of the house and park in the circle there. I grab Arabella and all her stuff while Maria lets all the dogs out the back of my car and then we go up the front steps and into the foyer of his house. Which is in Gladwyne.
