The End

I'd like to know just how the world will end.

The earth would crack, the walls, they might just bend.

And if we were to stay a few days more

The earth would turn against us, in a war.

Our houses would collapse, the buildings fall.

The skyscrapers would drown, no longer tall.

In rising oceans, rivers, lakes and sea.

The world shall not stay safe as it should be.

And from the rubble, what is left to save?

What value has our high tech gadgets here?

No phone to call for freedom from the waves,

No savior from afar, no rescue near.

What value has our high tech gadgets here?

The looming prospect now becomes a fear.
