Me and Ethan have been together for a couple months now, and things are amazing. My parents finally met him, and all of their doubts were washed down the sink, they also saw how amazing he is. And Fijmin is doing fantastic :)
"Come here buddy!" I called from the kitchen.
A very excited little Fijmin ran over to me and immediately gave me kisses on my cheeks. I scratched his head and picked him up and brought him over to my parents who were waiting at the doorway with thier suit cases.
"Say bye to grandma and grandpa" I said as I held him out to them.
My mom gave him a kiss on his forehead and so did my dad.
"Okay honey we are getting back Monday, make sure to keep the house locked when you are gone and here and don't forget to turn the lights off when you go out!" My mom rambled on.
"Yes yes ma I know, now go and have fun!" I said as I shushed my parents out of the door.
"Hey no having Ethan over while we are gone!" My dad said as I continued to shove them out.
"Mhmm" I agreed ( lies )
" babe you know she is gonna invite him over, just atleast use protection!" My mom yelled to me and my dad.
"Ma!" I yelled.
"Don't even out that thought in my head" my dad sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Ok our uber is here dear time to go, love you Jade!" My mom said as she walked to the black Altima waiting in front of our house.
"I love you guys have fun!" I said and gave them a small wave.
I slammed the door shut and let out a sigh, they were leaving all weekend for a "honeymoon" even though they got married almost 20 years ago. I think they just need a break from me and I am perfectly fine having the house to myself all weekend.
Fijmin was running around, but I told him to sit and he did. He only knows how to sit and shake, but that is impressive for a puppy. His ear were flopped to the side and it looked adorable so I snapped a pic and sent it to Ethan.
