Lily Potter

It's Lily Potter's (neè Evans) birthday today, and although she's fictional (shut up, she's real in my heart) she deserves to be recognised. She made a big sacrifice for her son, and for the entire wizarding world, and for that we raise our wands.

Okay, I realise how pathetic I sound, but I'm continuing.

I really wished she hadn't been killed off, and that she and James could have had their happy ending (because they were just the cutest couple ever (don't argue with me Izzy and Matilda, I'm mourning here) and they deserved their happily ever after), but then again, if she hadn't have died, I suppose the whole story plot would be distorted and messed up and frankly, pointless.

But let's all raise our wands for Lily Evans, a hero of the wizarding worlds. A loving, mother, wife and friend to all.

And she also landed a really great guy, who didn't deserve to die either.

So, yes, I'm pathetic, but I love Lily and I need more Marauder fluff from JK Rowling.
