Emily walked into the library, the same man from earlier was there, except this time he was at one of the desks writing something. He wasn't there when she and Sarah had walked through the library earlier. Emily walked over to the desk, the man didn't seem to notice her.

"Good morning" she said, he looked up slowly, his eyes a soft amber color. He had a sleepy look on his face, he looked down at his watch.

"Afternoon" he mumbled, looking back at his paper. Emily titled her head, she thought maybe she shouldn't bother him but she wanted to know who he was.

"My name is Emily, I'm staying here for awhile I suppose" she said and shrugged while looking at the man. He looked up again and met her stare.

"My name is Devon" he mumbled softly, Emily's face lit up a bit.

"You're Aaron's brother, right?"

"Yes... did Sarah tell you that?" He asked with a raised brow, Emily nodded.

"She spoke highly of you, she said you were very kind" Emily said smiling, Devon gave a small smile back but it quickly turned into a frown.

"You shouldn't be talking to me, Aaron will be upset with the both of us" he said sternly, Emily got a little mad.

"He has no say in what I do, I am my own person, he doesn't own me"

"In this place, he does" Devon said, looking up at Emily. His eyes scared her a bit, there was something strange in them. "I can see why he's keeping you so close, there's something.... different about you, don't you realize that?"

Before Emily could answer, Devon stood up and walked around the desk in a swift motion over to her. She took a few steps back but Devon grabbed Emily's shoulders and pulled her very close to him, her body tensed up, fear starting to crawl up her spine. He was a lot taller than Emily, she was only 5'5, and he was at least six feet. Devon leaned down, putting his lips near her ear, and he took deep breathes. "Your scent is quintessential, and yet so odd, I can't figure out why" he whispered. Emily tried to pull away but his iron grip held her in place.

"Please, I'm sorry if I upset you, let me go" Emily said, her voice quiet and frightened. Devon pulled back a bit to look at Emily, his eyes a dark red. Emily gasped, his eyes were like her kidnapper's, he was going to make her do things, just like Arthur did that night.

Devon leaned in a bit closer, his lips almost touching the top of Emily's forehead. He closed his eyes, Emily could feel his breathe on her skin, making the hairs on her neck stand up.

His grip loosened a bit on her shoulders, but he still held her there, almost like he was trying to comfort her.

"I want to help you, I want you to get out of here. Aaron wants you for something, I'm not sure what exactly but..."

Suddenly, Devon let go of Emily and was gone in a flash. Emily barely saw him move, he was so fast. She heard footsteps coming down the hall. Emily ran over to one of the bookshelves, pretending to look for something to read.

"Oh there you are Emily" Emily turned around, Aaron was standing at the opening to the library. He had changed his clothes, earlier he wore a white suit with a purple tie. Now, he wore black dress pants and a dark blue dress shirt.
His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, and his hair looked messy, like he had been in a fight. Emily smiled, she knew she had to play along with this game, make him think she didn't know anything, make him think she was blind. She didn't know much about what was going on, but she did know Aaron couldn't be trusted, or really anyone here for that matter.

"Good afternoon Aaron, where have you been? I've missed you" she said with a sweet smile, he walked over to her and grabbed her hand, kissing it gently.
