16 - Tell your Sister that she's gotta rise up

Alex's POV

I awoke to Peggy in her yellow silk pajamas screaming into a megaphone with sirens on the top. (A/N lol scared u last chapter)

"GET UP LOSERS IT'S TIME FOR PRESENTS" she screamed into the megaphone.

I groggily rolled out of bed and John and I changed and unwillingly walked down the stairs like zombies, hand in hand.

"Hurry up love birds" Eliza grabbed me by the hand, pulling John and I along to the Christmas tree.

"Schuyler's, you go first" Hercules rubbed his eyes.

Peggy got a load ton of batman merchandise (A/N literally my dream gifts) from Hercules and Lafayette, a tight yellow, shoulder-less top with a choker, black leggings with mesh around the sides and some custom made ankle boot heels with the batman symbol embedded into the front of the shoe from Angelica and Eliza. John and I got Peggy "boys" superhero and Star Wars shirts because Peggy loved shopping from the "boys" section because gender rolls sucked, a new camera and a prosthetic leg called "Leggy."

"YOU ACTUALLY GOT IT" she shrieked practically jumping on Alex and I. Everyone laughed at her excitement.

Everyone had opened their gifts besides John and I, everyone else's gifts mostly consisted of clothes.

"Alex, you're next" Angelica smiled, clapping her hands.

I got a new phone and Polaroid camera and film from the Schuyler's, a bisexual pride flag and some clothes from Hercules and Lafayette and now it was time for John's gift.

"YOU GOT ME A NEW LAPTOP!?" I screamed, instantly squeezing him in a tight hug.

"You literally used a laptop from like 2010" John laughed, picking up his first present.

The Schuyler's got him so many gay things that he was basically head to toe in it. Gay hat, shirt, pants, jacket, socks, shoes, you name it.

"Yep this solves my problem of everyone assuming I'm a heterosexual" he laughed.

"No one assumes that mom Ami" Lafayette chuckled.

Hercules and Lafayette got him 'Miranda' merchandise and now it was time for my gift.

"OH MY GOD YOU DIDN'T" John's hands flew to his mouth. "YOU GOT US FRONT ROW MIRANDA TICKETS!? How? what?HOW!?" He was nearly in tears.

"I'm scared for reaction to the next gift is that was your reaction to that" I wiggled my eyebrows.

"Alex. Did you get me a fucking turtle for Christmas!?" He was smiling so wide he looked like 5 year old. He intently stared at the turtle as it swam around the tank.

"Yup. I did" John grabbed me by the chin and kissed me.

"Damn" Peggy muttered.

"I should get a boyfriend" Eliza mumbled.

"Hercules why don't you get me a turtle for Christmas?"

"You don't even like turtles laf"

"Alex and John are so annoyingly cute what the actual hell" Angelica was also watching the turtle. We all thanked each other and kept looking at our gifts.

"TIME FOR MOVIES" Peggy said before anyone else could coo over John and I.

"I think I'm gonna go take a nap, guys, see you later" Eliza forced a smile that was totally unbelievable, though no one except John and I seemed to notice.
