I sensed his eyes on me. Why was he staring? All he ever did was insult me and walk away. He was my best friend's guy best friend for Christ's sakes! Changmin laughed and kept on dancing with me. "Stop looking so angry! We're here to have fun!" "I can't when that asshole is staring at me! It's annoying." I went back to our table where the ever handsome yet stupid Cho Kyuhyun was coming over as well. He hated the fact that I knew his little secret. It accidentally slipped from Changmin's mouth and I secretly thought he was feeding Kyuhyun. That's right. Cho Kyuhyun is a vampire. An ignorant one at that. He sat a shot in front of me. "Here. Bottoms up," he drank his own shot. He was joking. "What did you do to this? Poison it?" He narrowed his eyes. "You're the same as ever Soojin. I'm trying to be nice." I let out a snort. "As if you would be nice to me." He rolled his eyes, sliding into the booth to be beside me. "I want to turn over a new leaf. I am sorry for all the bad things I have said," he tried to take my hand but I refused. It seemed to anger him. Kyuhyun let out a breath. "Please, SooJin? I'm really trying." I couldn't resist the puppy eyes he was giving me and I drank the shot. He smiled and I eyed him. "You did poison it, you little shit!" He laughed, getting up. "Dance with me." I nodded cautiously. "I'm not the devil," "then why do you act like one?" He shook his head and kissed my hand. "I really tried to stay away from you but I can't control myself much longer." I rolled my eyes. "Don't turn this into a sappy twilight story." He chuckled. "I promise it won't be."
After we danced for a couple of minutes I really got into it. Dancing with Kyuhyun was really fun. His hands went on my waist and he pulled me closer. I could see that his eyes had turned black. "You okay?" He nodded and I was pulled even closer to him. "Do you trust me?" I shook my head. "No." "I deserve that." I nodded with a grin. He smiled down at me and I couldn't help but notice how beautiful he was. I mean I always thought he was attractive but wow. He took my arms to wrap them around his neck. "I know you do." He chuckled and leaned down. His lips were one of his best features. They were just so full, pillowy, and I bet soft. It seemed they were getting closer to me.
Changmin couldn't stop the cat call coming from him. His two best friends, after years of him secretly trying, together -kissing. SooJin pulled away, blushing. Kyuhyun gave his friend a look. Changmin knew from Kyuhyun that SooJin was the one, but he couldn't endanger her especially with the wolves snooping around. He tried so many times to tell him to man up and just mark SooJin but he had built a wall. Now that wall was slowly crumbling by the looks of the couple's lip lock. Kyuhyun whispered something into SooJin's ear. She nodded and they headed toward the exit.

"You know, you're a sweet talker Cho Kyuhyun." He had talked his way back to my apartment. He laughed. I was sitting on a bench at the end of my bed. He leaned forward, intertwining our hands, then put a chaste kiss on my lips. My hands went from his and locked in his hair. "I love you." I froze. Ever since I knew him we have hated each other. His hate could've been at the fact that he's a blood sucker. Mine was real rage. But as crazy as it was I wanted him to stay. I needed him to. "That's okay. I understand SooJin, but I need to make you mine. You're my match. I don't want to put you at risk, but I can't take another day of not knowing what you taste like." "What does that even mean?" "It means, darling, that we were destined for each other and to satisfy myself I am going to drink some of you from that pretty little neck you have." He made it sound so crude. I don't want him to touch me. I moved away. "Drink from someone else. This neck isn't open for business." I felt his lips on my neck anyway and I cringed. A second later he was sitting on the bed with me between his legs. "Your neck is the only neck that is open for business, for me. That's why you're my match." He rubbed circles into my thighs. It weirdly calmed me. I leaned back into him. He kissed me again. There was no turning back. We both wanted this too much.

My alarm clock went off at precisely 7 a.m. My body tingled as I got up to shower. There was a little pain in my neck. "SooJin?" Kyuhyun called out. I got into the shower. I'm sure he figured out where I was, when he stepped into the bathroom. "Today is Saturday... why aren't you still in bed?" I could imagine the little pout on his face and I sighed. "I have to work today. The boss has me working on a case." "You're a lawyer, right?" I laughed "Yes." "Your boss might not like what he sees." "What are you talking about?" By this time I was out and wrapping up in a towel. "Look," he moved me in front of the mirror. My neck along with my collar bones were covered in deep purple marks. Hickeys. "That's not all of them either." I glared at him as he turned me around. I looked and there was a black mark on my back. It was two triangles with one in the other and the sun was behind it. "That's my mark." He ran his fingers over it. I shivered. "Yeah, so are these! I can't hide this from my boss! It's the middle of summer and it would be kind of weird to have on a turtle neck and all of my scarfs are ugly." Kyuhyun kissed my cheek all the way down to the crook of my neck, resting his head there. "I'm sorry. I know I made this complicated for you." I sighed and stroked his hair. "It's okay I think I have enough make up for this. I need to get ready now." He nodded and left the bathroom.
After an hour of getting ready I was officially 15 minutes late and I wasn't finished yet. I came out in a simple ruffled white shirt with a black belt around my waist. I accompanied it with a back pencil skirt. When I walked into the bedroom I hear a growl from Kyuhyun. "You're not wearing that," I frowned. "Why not? Do I look bad?" "You look too sexy for office work. One of your coworkers might think of you in a way that only I can." I couldn't hold back the giggles. "Stop being so jealous. Most of the lawyers are old and married." His lips covered mine, possessively. "There's no one but you. Now I have to go or I might not have a job" Kyuhyun was dressed in a second "I'm taking you." I nodded, knowing I couldn't say no. I was 45 minutes late for work when I finally arrived. Kyuhyun didn't just drop me off, much to my annoyance, he walked me to my office.
My phone was ringing off of the hook! "Exo law firm, Lee Soojin speaking." "My office now. You have some explaining to me why you were 45 minutes late with out a call." I held in my sigh. "Yes Do-sunbaenim." I hung up the phone and turned to my companion. "You have to leave. Come over tonight if you want to. I'll be home by 8." I kissed him quickly. "I will see you, tonight, darling." I took his hand and led him through my office door where I ran into my boss. Do Kyungsoo. I face palmed as growls came from the males. "I'll see you later Soojin. I love you." I muttered an I love you back. Their behavior was strange. Kyungsoo was my friend when we weren't working. He wasn't a vampire. There was no way. Then why did he growl at Kyu? "Soojin, please make sure your ...bed mates stay at home. Now get to work." I bowed and nodded. "Sorry sir. I went back to my office to work on this rad murder trial. I still couldn't get them out of my head. What was kyungsoo, and why did Kyuhyun react that way?
