Chapter Three

"Good morning, beautiful." I smiled and Kyuhyun smiled back at me. Regretfully I got up and fixed breakfast. After I had wiped the sleep from my eyes, I made eggs and bacon. I really like bacon. Hands went around my waist, causing me to jump a little. "Mianhae, Jagi, I didn't mean to scare you." I kissed his cheek with a smile. "It's alright, so last night we didn't get to talk about this, but what exactly is a vampire. What are the do's and don't's?" Kyu let out a cute chuckle. "We are born, not made, and we are thrown into the wrong time frame and we spend, in some cases, eternity searching for our match. When that happens, we can change our match, or have kids, then turn our match." I cringed at his words. I don't want kids. I am awful with babies, and I don't want to mess up things down there. "Matches are the only people we can do anything intimate with, or it eats at us. I am drawn to you as much as you are me." "Who said I was drawn to you?" I joked with an eyebrow raised. "I know it's there because the first day I laid eyes on you I felt it, we both felt it." That was true. five years ago we met and I was instantly attracted to him, and his smile was absolutely gorgeous. When we shook hands it was like they fit. The day after I had met him I hated him. He pretended to hate me. He had pushed me into a puddle, making my pink dress filthy. "Why did you push me into that mud hole?" "That dress was too revealing, and I didn't want another man looking at you." I rolled my eyes, turning to look into his. "I wore it for you, stupid! I wanted you to notice me and say I was pretty!" He kissed all over my face, making forget my frustrations from years ago. "From that day on, I had to be mean to you, I couldn't be mean one day and nice the next. Changmin punched me a couple of times for hurting you. I am absolutely sorry for everything, starting with that dress." I turned and finished breakfast, I didn't eat much, I was too focused on Kyuhyun. "Let me see, vampire don't's, Don't freak out around us, we're kinda like people. Don't try to make us jealous. It won't end well. I can't protect you very well if I'm in prison. Once every three months, us vampires get a little needy for blood, but don't worry I won't take much. This will only happen over two years, because then you will be a vampire," he had a grin on his face, but I shook my head. "No, not happening." He frowned. "Yes it is happening." I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms. "Look, I don't think this is going to work out well. So, if you're going to sit here and make all these changes to my life, that I love, then you can leave." I pointed towards the door.

Kyuhyun pouted. "I just want to be with you forever, and I have everyday since I saw you. I love you SooJin." My heart fluttered. I had always been a sucker for love. Damn him for using those words against me. I know yesterday I had said that I loved him back, but at that moment my brain was still on the growl. Which brought me back to this question. "Why don't you like Kyungsoo? Why did you get all defensive and growl at him?" He sighed, rubbing his forehead. "I was hoping wouldn't have to tell you about this. Him and all of his friends are werewolves, obviously we are natural born enemies. I would be a lot happier if DO was happily mated, and so was that other guy that was sitting beside you," "Kris, his name is Kris." "I don't care." He shot at me, a little angry. "He's my friend. Both of them are, so could you not? It doesn't matter if they aren't mated. I am and I only see you." He took me into his arms, stroking my hair. "I know. I'm sorry if this is a lot for you." A lot seemed to make since, Kris and Kyungsoo would all leave work on weird days, and they would be a lot snappier on those days. Sometimes I wouldn't see them for weeks at a time. It killed me not hearing from them. I didn't want to find them in a ditch somewhere. Thinking of it Jongdae's story came really sudden, and he was gone for so long. He didn't even take his camera. Should I talk to them about it? I came from my thoughts, feeling lips on mine. "Now since you have a lot of energy, I have a way we can use it." I laughed and kissed him.

Why wasn't Soojin answering her phone? Kyungsoo wondered after dialing her number for the sixth time. Soojin's phone was smashed to pieces at the moment and even if it wasn't it was dead by now. "Hyung, what should I do? Soojin isn't answering!" Kris let out a chuckle, as Kai tried to comfort Soo. "Maybe her phone is dead. Why don't you try going to her apartment?" Kyungsoo thought about Jongin's offer. It seemed to be better than calling her phone. What he didn't like was her phone being dead. He's been trying to call her for the past hour. SooJin doesn't sleep in that often. It has to be because of him. The vampire needed to keep his grimy hands off of his woman. "Let's go." The three boys raced to Soojin's house. It was important that they get her away from the enemy. "Kyu! Stop it! I can't breath!" All of the wolves heard Soojin gasping for air, laughing. Kyungsoo loved the sound, but it was quickly ruined by hearing him laugh and the sound of his lips on hers. A little growl came from soo. He banged on the door. He was taking her far away from Kyuhyun, forever. Kyungsoo felt a hand on his shoulder. Jongin didn't understand why his hyung was so angry. If SooJin was already mated then he couldn't do anything. Could he? Jongin hasn't found a mate yet, but he hopes to soon. Soojin answered the door alone, much to kyungsoo's delight. "Hey, guys! What's up?" She was so much more upbeat than he'd ever seen her. "Come do something with us." Kris suggested. Kyungsoo was too busy checking her over. SooJin's strapped shirt was disheveled with one strap off of her shoulder. A sight of pink caught his eye against the purple shirt. It was her bra. The hickies on her neck seemed to be darker than they were yesterday, and there was definitely more. He couldn't take his eyes off of the one that was darker than the rest, right where her jugular was. ".........Kyungsoo?" Everyone's eyes was on him. "Sorry I was thinking." a new voice spoke up. "Don't think of my girlfriend naked!" Kyuhyun said jokingly, but he seriously didn't want anyone thinking of her in that way. He could see the fake smiles the wolves had. A blush came to kyungsoo. "I-I wasn't." Soojin laughed. "Okay, sure." "Anyways we should go for a hike!"Jongin suggested. Soojin nodded at the idea. She liked the woods. She turned excitedly towards Kyuhyun, giving kyungsoo more than enough of a peek. "Kyu! Can we go please?" He laughed and nodded. "Only if you promise we can ski on my birthday." She made a face sticking her tongue out. "Fine." "So it's settled! Let's go for a hike, we can meet you at the trail, Soojin." Kris said, waiting to get away from the vile creature that threatened the safety of one of his best friends.
