Chapter Eight ~ Savior? (Part Two)

Luna's POV  

I backed out of the driveway and on to the street quickly. Natur looked at me and asked "How are we going to get out of here?" I kept my eyes on the road and answered "I don't know yet. I don't even know how you got in!" "I remember falling asleep outside the OR,then I appeared at your house. I figured maybe X drove us over there to get away from the hospital for a bit." She said. "Why are you guys at the hospital?" I ask confused. I really didn't know. "You really dont know do you?" She asked "You were in a car crash." "I thought that was a nightmare...So it really happened." I whisper. That wasn't just a nightmare. All I knew was that I needed to get Natur out of here even if it kills me. I have a few possible ways. Maybe if she fell asleep to get here all she has to do is go to sleep to get back. I think that's how. I pull over to the side of the road and look at Natur. "Natur I need you to go to sleep." I say. "Why?" She asks. "It's how you're going to get home." I say quietly.I let the tears fall knowing I can't go with her. "But,what about you?" She questions. "I'm going with you" I lie. "You know how to?" She asks joyfully. "Yeah" I lie again,stopping my tears and looking her in the eyes. "Everything is going to be ok after you go to sleep" I say partially lying. Things will be ok after she sleeps,just not everything. "Goodnight Natur" I whisper. I mutter under my breath 'goodbye' and let the tears fall again. Thankfully she doesn't notice. A few minutes later she is sound asleep. She then disappears like magic.I get out of my jeep and walk into the middle of the road. When I left my house I knew I hadn't killed the enemy just yet. I pull my pistol out and load it. I wait for a minute. I had Natur leave so she didn't have to see me die and so I knew she would be safe. A moment later I hear lightning crack. He's up and he's coming for me. I just know it.
