Strange Magic

The first shift

The family woke well before sunrise the next morning all egar to start Tiberius' training.
Grey had been the first one up and had come and sat on the ground next to Tiberius head and starred at him like a puppy until he woke up. Tiberius smiled at this and out of instinct patted grey on the head.

" What time is it Grey?" Tiberius moaned as he rolled onto his side.
" About five am but we have a lot of training to do and Magnus and Stella
will be here any minute. " Grey said bouncing on his heels. "Come on, get out of bed already!"
"Alright, I'm getting out of bed." 
Grey backed up from the bedside with a huge grin.
Throwing back the covers Tiberius stretched and shook his head at Grey.
Getting up Tiberius pulled of his night shirt and shooed Grey out of his room. Grey quickly jumped up and turned to leave but thick cuts on Tiberius' back made him pause.
I'll ask him about it later. With that he turned and left the room.

Walking down the hall he could hear the sound of his dads discussing the day ahead of them with raven.
" Do you think he'll be able to learn? I mean he is abit older and most warlock's start learning to control there power when there young." Raven said looking up from her book.
" Raven dear I think he will do just fine and Magnus will be here to ease the pain of his first transition. " Finn said looking up from the frying pan.

Grey walked into the kitchen and scoped Raven off of her chair.
"Morning sis!" A grin wide on Grey's face.
" Morning Grey, now put me down!" Raven demand.
" Did you wake Tiberius up Grey?" Miguel asked still staring out the window.
"Yhea he's coming down the hall now."
A few seconds later Tiberius walked into the kitchen. He had a red and black plaid shirt on and a pair of jeans.
" Good morning everyone. " Tiberius said as a smile played on his lips. This morning his eyes were a bluish-grey color that looked a bit hazed as he went to sit down at the table as eggs were being served.
" Do eggs taste good?" Tiberius questioned nervously looking down at the yellow lump on his plate. They smelled good but he wasn't sure how they taste. Grey gasped and raven shook her head as she laughed. Grey placed a lanky but firm  hand on Tiberius'
shoulder.

" They are delicious, especially the way dad makes them!"
"Grey's right eggs are good but if you try them and don't like them, well then you don't have to eat them, alright?"
"If I don't like them will I get punished?" He was nervous for the response, so his eyes downcasted and focused on his hands folded in his lap.
" Tiberius no ones going to hurt here. You know what when you feel comfortable you can talk to us about your past okay? "  Grey exclaimed with a bright gleam in his eyes.
" Okay, and some ones coming up the hill." Tiberius said as he dug his fork into his eggs. The four others looked at each other quizzical while Tiberius enjoyed his eggs.
 

" I'll go check." Raven said putting her book down. She sighed as she walked out the door. They all sat waiting for Ravens return.
" There's two people coming besides Raven.  Theire foot steps are not in sync like before." Tiberius spoke just as he finished his eggs.
" You can hear them?" Finn questioned sitting across from Tiberius keeping his gaze steady.
" Yeah they are closer to the house." Grey leaned back and concentrated.
" Papa, Dad he's right I can hear them to. Grey exclaimed his ears twitching a little.
" They are closer now. There's a boy and a girl and Raven. " Tiberius added but this time Miguel noticed his ears twitching too.

" Grey when we start training him I want you to teach him how to shift into a wolf. Okay?" Miguel said getting up from his seat.
" Sure dad." Grey said
A few seconds later raven and two others walked. There was a boy about two inches shorter than grey with black hair that was in spikes. His skin was tan and his chizled jaw line flecked with whiskers a little more than what grey had. He was wearing a black leather jacket with black pants and a navy blue T-shirt. He had a brown leather messenger bag slung over his shoulder.
He is handsome!  Tiberius thought to  himself. Looking over at the girl next you could tell that they were twins as well. Her skin tone was that of her brother's and her black hair was in flowing waves halfway down her back she was beautiful like raven but both in there own ways. Her eyes were a lighter brown than that of her twin. She was wearing a pair of jeans and a black shirt.

Grey got up from his seat and greeted the two and brought them further into the kitchen. Tiberius still had an awestruck look on his face.
" Tiberius this is Magnus and his twin Stella. They are good friends of ours." Grey said giving introductions.
" It's a pleasure to meet you Tiberius. " Magnus said his voice deep and mysterious as he out stretched a hand. Quickly Tiberius got up and shook it. His hand was large and firm.
As they shook Tiberius swore he saw a gleam in his eyes.
"Hey Tiberius I'm Stella nice to meet you." She said engulfing Tiberius in a hug.
" You to Stella." Tiberius gasped.
" Stella you can let him go now." Magnus laughed as his twin apologized.

" Okay every body outside. " Finn ordered. Once everyone was outside Finn had Tiberius stand in the middle of the yard.
" Okay Grey, Magnus your up." Miguel ordered as the rest went to sit down near by.
" Okay Tiberius just realax, imageb your self as clay." Grey said relaxing the younger boy.
" Okay now picture yourself being molded into a wolf .
His hands started forming into claws and his bones started reshaping their selves.
He growled out in pain, blood poured from his human wounds that had been reopened. His body was now covered in white fur and his body was that of a wolf's.
"It hurts!" Tiberius cried out before passing out.
