Strange Magic

A family

Getting out of the car, I couldn't help but smile a little. The twins quickly came up and engulfed me in a hug. I was a bit taken back by this but quickly returned it.

" Its a boy haha!" The older boy twin said to his sister.
" I'm Raven and this is my twin."
" I'm Grey."
" It's nice to meet you both, I'm Tiberius! "
He said with a shy smile. His eyes had started changing from a amber green to a golden yellow.
" That's so cool, your eyes change color's. " Grey exclaimed.
Tiberius castes his eyes down as they changed to a light blue. He was shy and always embarrassed about his eyes.
" Papa what can he change into and how does his eyes change so many colors and he doesn't seem to know how to control his magic. Are you sure he safe?"
Raven questioned Miguel.

Raven had long fiery red hair as well as did grey. They both had brown eyes flecked with grey. Raven was about 5"4 and Grey was about 5"7.
" Raven, he's only thirteen, and no ones ever taught him how to use his magic. " He awnsered in response. Tiberius was very confused at this and didn't understand what they ment, but he had no time to ask before he was being pulled in the cabin by Grey.

" Alright, how old are you Tiberius? " Grey asked as he pulled him through the cabin.
" I'm thirteen but people say I act like I'm older, how old are you and Raven? " Tiberius asked quickly warming up to Grey.
"Were 14 but I act younger sometimes and am hyper, and Raven's the more responsible one." They walked past a few doors the halls were filled with pictures.
They walked past a few more doors, then stopped.

" This is mine and Raven's room. We've always have shared a room. When we were younger the only way you could tell us apart was by our hair." He said as he let out a chuckle.
Grey turned around and opened the door across the hall.

" This is your room, I see you don't have much. We'll find things to make it a little more to your liking." Grey said as he pushed Tiberius through the door.
" Go ahead and unpack. If you need me I'm right across the hall." With that Grey left Tiberius to unpack.

The room was bigger than the one at the adoption home. There was a window against the back wall that looked over the forest. Against the right side there was a bed it had an completely wooden frame and on the head board was a carving of a tree. Tiberius looked at this with astounded eyes but the heard a growl coming from outside.
Quickly Tiberius put his clothes away and left his room.

I heard the low growl again. I went and knocked on the twins room. I waited a few minutes then I heard voices coming from outside. I ran down the halls and out the front door. In the front yard Finn and Raven were watching a grizzly bear and wolf fighting.

" What is this?" Tiberius said with a bit of supprise in his voice.
" Oh it's nothing papa (Miguel) and Grey were just challenging each other." Raven replied casually.
"No there's a bear and a wolf, not pap

 or Grey." The confusion in his voice now plain.

"Oh that's right Tiberius doesn't know, Miguel, Grey shift back." Finn said as he went and placed a hand on Tiberius' shoulder.
Tiberius stared as the bears fur started shifting to skin and the claws started retracting into hands. In a few moments Miguel had taken the place of where the bear had just been. Tiberius' swallowed hard trying his hardest to not faint. He switched his gaze over to where the wolf stood. The wolfs fur started turning to skin and the grey eyes switched to light blue. The wolf stood on its hine legs and a few moments later a grinning Grey had replaced the wolf.

" That is awsome!" Tiberius said with disbelief.
" If you think that's cool, you should see what dad and raven can shift into. Go ahead show him you two. " Grey nodded to him.
Finn sighed but did a small leap into the air and quickly transformed into an owl. Its feathers a jet black with white tips. Finn swopped high into the air then lightly perched on Tiberius' shoulder.
Next Raven turned she crouched close to the ground and then black fur took the place of her skin and her body became smaller almost folding into itself. A black cat now  strutted towards him.
He was amazed.
Finn lifted off Tiberius' shoulder and transformed back to his human form. Raven leaped into the air and transformed as well.

"Wow! Teach me how to do that!" He marvelled.
"Wait he can't change yet?." Raven said with a questioning gaze.
" Not yet raven. " Miguel shrugged.
Patting Tiberius on the shoulder she walked back into the house.
" We'll start your lesson tomorrow. Come on I think its just about dinner." With that the four of them went back in the house.
