Chapter 12: Teacher Meeting

"Melissa, wake up and get your ass out of bed" I heard my mother yell.

I sprang out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I threw on my black skirt and black hoddie with my knee high black boots. I ran out of the house and on to my motor bike.

I started it and drove to school.

I was excited because today is Logan and I's first week anniversary. Of coarse we are dating under the radar but we are still dating. But today is my eighteenth birthday and it may all turn around. I am finally an adult.

I drove to school as fast as I could and parked it. I could not wait for lunch!

I walked into my math class and saw Mr. Tucker marking some things at his desk. I walked to my desk and sat down. He looked up and our eyes connected. He smiled at me and then turned his attention to the clock. But the bell rang before he could glance at it. He stood up and started the lesson "Okay class today we will be learning about.." he went on about the math lesson but I just sat there and zoned out.

I got started on my work.

Then something was put on my desk. I looked at it. There was a small vanilla cupcake with a mound of blue frosting and those huge number candles that said '18'. I looked up and saw Mr. Tucker smiling down on me.

I quickly looked around, everyone was gone. The door was shut and lunch ad already started. God, where have I been?

"You were pretty focused on your math work" Mr. Tucker said smiling down on me.

I got up from my seat and jumped into his arms. I kissed him full on the lips. He pulled back "happy birthday" he said.

"I'm finally an adult" I said smiling.

"Yes you are" he said and kissed me again.

"Hey, I got you something" he said and pulled something out of his back pocket. It was a small box.

"Oh Logan, you really didn't have to get me anything" I said but he handed me the box anyway.

"Open it" he said with a smile on his face.

I sighed and opened the box. On a plain silver chain hung a heart lock it with swirly design's on it.

"Oh Logan it's beautiful" I said touching the chain.

"Open the lock it" he said.

I did as he asked and inside the heart on one side was a picture of me with the sun shining down on my face smiling. On the other side was a picture of him smiling with the sun bathing his face too.

I looked up at Logan and smiled "it's beautiful" I said.

"No your beautiful" he said and leaned down and kissed me.

When he pulled back he mumbled "turn around". I did as he asked and he took the box from my hands. He took the necklace out and I held my hair up. I stung it around my neck and I let my hair fall around my shoulders.

I turned around and smiled at him. He kissed me. I pulled away "can I eat my cupcake?" I asked.

He laughed "of coaurse" he picked up my cup cake and lit the candles with a lighter from his back pocket. "Make a wish" he said.

I did and blew out the candles.

"What did you wish for?" he asked pulling out the candles and handing me the cupcake.

"That I would have you forever" I said and took a bite of the delicious cupcake.

"I'm not going anywhere" he said and kissed the side of my cheek.
