It was raining, the toads and amphibians of the night crept out of their ponds and onto the wet grass. The wildebeest took shelter underneath the trees while the hippopotamuses laid over the lake pounding themselves with the cold water.
Despite this setback, Bokk kept plunging onward to Armida Village to mark his first step on his long journey. The rain would discourage most travelers who traveled across the savannah on foot, but not Bokk. Because of Bokk, now being a creature of the sea, adores the water. Bokk absorbs the wet rain pouring down from the sky with his scaly blue skin, giving him extra oxygen to breathe with.
The sky was dark, as if thunder was going to strike at any moment. The wind was fierce, blowing at 20km/h. The trees could be seen bowing to the north as the wind from the south blows stronger and stronger. Bokk struggles to keep his feet stapled to the ground and digs his webbed claws into the wet soil. With more stability he keeps moving, shutting his eyes to stop flying debris from speeding into his eyes.
As he keeps walking he notices a lit up cave in the distance. He fights the heavy wind towards the cave and hears low pitched voices having a conversation deep within the cave.
"This weather is highly discouraging, it will probably take sixty hours to arrive in Denval" says a voice deep in the cave. "Indeed Rev, nightfall isn't even upon us and it is as dark as the bottomless pit. Where is the sun when you need it?".
Bokk was a bit nervous, he wanted to settle in the cave to take shelter but was afraid that the inhibitors of the cave were ferocious predators. Bokk decided to wait under a tree until the rain came to a halt.
A couple minutes past and the storm grows worse and worse. Bokk becomes restless and decides to sneak into the cave to warm up. He takes a peek through the cave entrance and sees two big Fire Gogs sitting near an open fire. The Fire Gogs stood at 7ft tall and were very muscular. They wore messenger hats and royal garnishes.
A pot of curry was over the open fire. Bokk, being very hungry was attracted to the smell. Bokk, wanting to pursue the smell and devour the curry was halted by the dangers that may occur.
Gogs were said to be very ferocious creatures. Being half baboon half demon they are creatures of the underworld. Gogs have the ability to cast fire magic with combination of their brute strength. They are also carnivores and eat human flesh.
Because Bokk is now a Fishman, he still carries traits of a human such as his human clothing (which happened to be a pair of worn out pants). He would still be considered fish meat to go well with the flame bean curry. Bokk decided to walk out of the cave but stumbled on a rock with his big webbed feet.
"Hey! Who goes there" says one of the Gogs spotting Bokk on the floor. "Hey you! What do you think you're doing here? This is our cave" says the other Gog. Bokk gets up and says "Sorry, I just came in for shelter. It's rough out there and I needed to shield myself from the hard rain".
The Gogs speak amongst themselves quietly."Rev, here is our dinner, let's get him!" says one of the Gogs starting to stand up. "Wait!" says Rev grabbing the Gog's shoulder. "Hey, you are hungry right? We can't possibly eat this flame bean curry without meat". "Tza, This man is a fishman, he might be able to carry out our mission. You know we Gogs can't survive longer than an hour in the hard rain". Then, Tza shuttered in fear "Most certainly not Rev, besides, that gives him a reason to live". "Yes it does Tza, yes it does".
