~Part 4~
"Don't give me those eyes Castiel it's just coffee." You laugh as your cat glances at you with beady eyes, softly purring. Kissing him on the top of his head, you double check you haven't forgotten his food this time before exiting your flat. It's been a day since you talked to Harry partly, well mostly, because you hadn't exchanged numbers.
And if the atmosphere was going to be any more cliché and movie like for the situation, birds start chirping as you walk past the park and suddenly the sun shines from behind the clouds. Or maybe it's just Harry the Angel making his way down to the coffee shop. You smile to yourself and keep walking until you reach the coffee shop.
Entering, you skim your eyes across the place until you see a familiar head full of curls.
"Morning." You sling your small bag on the side of the chair as you sit down opposite Harry. "Good morning." He says back, looking up at you with the most innocent face you have ever seen. His eyes are a soft jade green, skin glowing from the sunlight outside and his smile as radiant as the sun. Maybe you stare a little longer than intended, but masterpieces were made for looking.
"I don't think they have 2% milk here, not as sophisticated at you." Harry comments, making you focus your eyes instead of gazing in awe. "That's a bummer, how will I live?" You sigh dramatically and get a laugh out of Harry.
"We'll figure it out, don't want you dying on me." He adds before handing you a folded menu. After filtering your options, you decide on a 'Banana Chocolate Double Punch Frappe', continuing your adventurous outlook. Harry asks what you want to order and goes up to the counter to tell it to the lady. "And a choc chip muffin please!" You call out just as you see Harry finishing up the orders.
He nods and comes back to his seat when he's finished. "How much do I owe you?" "That's nonsense, just enjoy your food [Y/N]." Harry pushes your wallet away gently as you begin to get money out. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? They must miss you up there." You say before you can even stop yourself.
"I thought I was supposed to be the one with the pickup lines." Harry chuckles and you can see his cheeks blush in a rose colour that's truly adorable. "You also thought I was going to pick light milk. What can I say, I'm full of surprises." After that, the conversation really hits off.
You wonder how talking with someone you barely know can be so simple. Harry is truly is a lovable, charming, witty, funny and just an abundance of fun. Where has he been all this time? You share half your muffin with Harry and laugh when he gets chocolate down the side of his face.
"Wait you got a little something there. I'm not the only one." Harry points to your face where there's a smudge of chocolate. "Gone?" You ask as you wipe your face. "No, here I'll-" Harry reaches over and gently wipes the chocolate off your face with his soft fingers. There's a slight pause as you look in each other's eyes, not daring to blink. "Gone." He smiles, face as fuzzy as a kitten.
Finishing up your coffee and frappe, you trade numbers with Harry with heartfelt smiles. Like a true gentleman, Harry leads you home and hugs you before leaving.
Your heart is beating so fast as you enter the flat even Castiel can feel the vibe as he curls around your leg. And that night your smile is undeniable as you get a text from Harry, 'had a great time today, and you're right, it did hurt a bit when I fell haha xx'.
