Tessa's Life As A Mermaid

chapter two (my school life)

As I swam out of the water,careful enough not to be seen, I heated my blue tail so my legs would reappear. As I rushed to my room and checked the time I realized it was already 8:00 am. I rushed to grab my clothes and head downstairs. As I entered into the closet I grabbed the first suit I saw which was a purple camisole and a short jeans skirt. I grabbed my bag and rushed out of my room leaving the door behind me closed.
  As I entered the living room, the sweet smell of hot chocolate and blue berry pancakes filled the air. I checked my ring finger to see if I still had my moon ring on.... Ezra made a stupid rule that we are not supposed to let 'land people' see our moon rings . I hate Ezra.... He wanted that to happen to my father so he could take merlandia in his own hands.... My mom left a note on the table which reads..
"Dear Tessa,
          I know you were out for your morning swim...and time was of the essence. I made your favourites..... Enjoy!"

I checked the time and realized it was already  8:07am. I gulped the hit chocolate down my throat and stuffed a few blue berry pancakes in my mouth. They were yummy.....I rushed out leaving the door behind me closed. As I walked out the door I greeted everyone I saw passing by. It was now 8:09 and I knew I had to hurry. I ran and ran and by the timevi reached through the school doors it was 8:14. Jeez I felt exhausted!!. But anyways I managed to make it to my locker. While doing this, I saw  this tall blonde guy. He looked Canadian. He was wearing a black leather jacket, a red and black joggers, a black v neck cut        T-shirt and a red pair of high top jordans. I was there staring for about ten seconds then I realized he was heading my direction..... He was handsome!!.....I positione myself to introduce myself but before I could begin, he did...
"Hi. I'm Austin. What's your name?"
" hello... Ah.... Hi there Austin! I'm Tessa! Nice to meet you ah... Austin!"
"Okay ! Nice name you got there tessa. I'll see you around"
"Sure!"

We both went our separate ways. His Canadian accent was amazing and I loved it! Music was my first class for the day. It went well and so did my other classes. Austin was my new lab partner. He was actually smarter than I thought. As I said before, all went well except for when kyla... Which btw is my      KA-RAY-ZEE best friend, was rambling about Austin and almost spilled her water on me... And get this, WE WERE IN THE DINING ROOM, AT LUNCH TIME!!
