My dad touches my shoulder, "You're Steve. I saw your exhibit at the museum." Steve nods,
"Bucky, you're in danger. Who's this?" He says looking at me with a caring look.
"Her name is Alex, I took her in six months ago. She was alone," Dad says.

"People think you bombed the United Nations meeting," Steve says.

"I didn't," Dad says walking in front of me.
"Well, people think you did. And they're coming for you." Steve says taking off his helmet.

My dad turns to me, "Alex, when you hear the door bang, use the fire escape to get out," he then turns to Steve. "Do you know where she can go?"

"Natasha is here with Denis. I'll send you the cordnets," my phone rings and I see where I need to go from here. My dad hugs me and I hug back. "You'll be safe ok?" He asks.

I nod then the door bangs with voices on the other side. I stare at Steve and my dad and climb out the window. I run down and see the multiple police cars and SWAT teams near the apartment building.

I follow the arrow on my phone, running down multiple streets and alleyways.

After about fifteen minutes of running, I find myself in a dark alleyway. A boy slightly taller than me with copper hair comes out of the shadows, "Are you Alex?" He asks.

I nod slowly, still clutching onto my book. He shakes my hand and a woman with darker red hair comes out of the shadows.

"Are you Alex Barnes?" She asks.
"Geez Nat, she just answered that," the boy says in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm Denis Clarkson. This is Natasha, she's one of the Avengers. You, know who the Avengers are, right?"
"I don't think she's a idiot Denis," Natasha says.

"I just got a call from Tony. They have Steve and Barnes." She says looking at her phone.
"W-who has my dad?"

^o^ At the Base ^o^

After a hour or so of flying, we enter a government building in Berlin. With all the high tech equipment, I didn't realize at first the screen. I see my dad, in a cage like container.

I run towards the screen, "DAD!!"

Everyone is looking at me, but I don't care. Denis holds onto me and leads me to a glass room.

"Hey Steve," Denis says and he lets me calm down in one of the leather chairs.
Steve looks at my and sighs,
"I'm sorry Alex, there's nothing that we could have done."

I sit in silence and pull out my book I got earlier. I had read it before, before the accident. I lay back and start reading.

This is not how I'd thought this day would go.
