He'd never missed a single thing that was important to me. He even remembered my dogs birthday! I remember when we had first started dating, back in seventh grade. For a first date he took me to my favorite place ever, it was this little cave with the pond like thing.

---------FB TO FIRST DATE-----

The water was crystal clear The water was crystal clear, and my favorite thing to do was to look at all the rocks and pebbles at the bottom. As he was exploring the cave, I was perched on my ledge that overlooks the water. I was leaning over the ledge so that I was looking at the entire cave from above. Suddenly I felt strong, warm hands on my waist "be careful" he said "I'd hate to see you fall." I giggled and leaned back away from the ledge and sat next to him. He wrapped his arm around me and I rested my head against his chest. Come to think of it... That same cave was where we had our first kiss together!!

------FB TO 1MONTH DATE------

We were back in Our Cave. No longer MINE, now it was OURS. He had surprised me with a picnic! We laid out my favorite navy blue blanket with stars out on the cool rocks right at the waters edge. There was this little waterfall that if you swam through it you ended up in this really small little cave, a rock jutted out into the water almost like a platform. As soon as I ripped off my clothes revealing my peach colors bikini I raced into the water and dove under the waterfall. I came up for air on the other side of the water fall and pulled myself up onto The Rock. Seconds later Bret joined me. We sat there on the rock with out feet dangling into the deeper part of the water, our warm, damp bodies pressed up against each other's. I closed my eyes trying to soak up every piece of this moment so I never forgot a single part of it. I tilted my head up so I could see his face, and he angled his downward and grinned at me. I lifted my head until our lips touched. His lips were soft and warm against mine. After a few seconds both of us were sitting there looking at each other, grinning like idiots. "I think I need to do that again" he whispered as he put one hand behind my head, and the other on my lower back pulling me closer. As we kissed I ran one hand through his hair, and the other up and down his his back.

-------------FB ENDS--------------

The rock had become our make out place, our getaway from life and all its problems. It was our spot and ours only.

(Friday morning)
By time I got downstairs for breakfast I was fuming. He couldn't have texted me or ANYTHING?! He better have an explanation for this and it better be one hell of an answer. I marched downstairs and through the cupboard open. I grabbed my usual bowl and slammed it onto the countertop. I randomly grabbed a box of cereal not giving a crap in the world what kind it was. I punch the button on the kettle so the water would start boiling for my morning coffee. I had just seated myself when my dad walked in. Quickly I shoveled cereal into my mouth so I could avoid conversation. As my dad made his coffee, It took all of my effort to not yell "can. U. SHUT. The. f*** . Up?!?!" As I was taking the last few bites of cereal and drinking my milk, my dad turns around and goes "I saw Bret last night at the store." Milk went FLYING out of my mouth as well as my nose. "YOU WHAT??!!" I Shrieked. My dad started to chuckle. "What do YOU find funny?!" I demanded. "Well" he said trying to hold back the laughter "I figured out why your so upset this morning!" He screeched as he bolted out of the kitchen barely avoiding my flying spoon. I texted Marissa to ask her if she could pick me up for school. In the car I did nothing but go on and on about the same things over and over, "why didn't he show up?!" "I love him so much and he just DIDNT SHOW UP!" My dear best friend Marissa sat there the entire time yelling "DUMP HIS SORRY PATHETIC ASS!!" Over the top of me. You see, Marissa never liked Bret, and I mean NEVER!
