It didn't happen

Truth

My eyes fluttered open, I couldn't move and my breathing was labored and worst of all. I was alive. Somebody was in my room with me and as soon as I started stirring, they quickly put down what looked and smelt like a pot of puke and rushed over to my side. "April thank god your alive! I need to explain something... But your not going to believe me" it was Bret. If I could I would've punched him in the nose, then kicked him in the balls but let's face it, I could hardly breath let alone move. All I could do was lay there staring at him while he explained. He started of by saying how the previous night he stayed the night at his friends Mark house. I hated mark, mainly cause he didn't like us dating, but I still don't like him. Bret was saying how he had left his phone at Marks and was on his way to pick it up when I had started talking abt Marrissa leaving me and he took that chance to break us up. So when Bret got to Marks house he grabbed his phone and say "8..... 9..... 10...." And floored the car down the street almost runnin over this poor old lady in order to get to me before I killed myself. "When I got here, you where passed out on the floor hardly breathing. I got so scared looking at you so close to death, I did the only thing I had any hope of helping, I shoved my finger down your throat so you would throw up all the medicine and sure enough u did. Once you where done throwing up you started sleeping soundly so I decided I'd stay to keep u from trying again when u woke up. While I cleaned up your room I started thinking about what I would've done if you didn't come back to me and we'll...... April, I love you" I started to cry, "I love you too" I cried while smiling. He gently lifted me off the floor and kissed me softly. He held me like a baby for a long time slowly rocking me back and forth. Finally he placed me down on my bed and climbed in next to me. Before I drifted off to sleep I asked him "you promise ur not cheating on me with a girl who will have sex with you?" "Why would I want to cheat on you?! There's no way I could ever love somebody else." We fell asleep in each others arms.
When I woke up the next morning I was facing Bret who was still asleep. I studied his face as he slept, something abt it was different..... More peaceful. I looked at the time and realized we had school in an hour. I started kissing him hoping he'd wake up. He moaned and rolled over onto this back and I rolled with him. As I layed on top of him I continued to kiss him knowing it was gonna work. Finally he woke up completely "you know, if you keep kissing me like that I might just go back to sleep" he teased. I kissed his nose gently "no more kisses till you get ur butt outta bed" I teased back. I'd never seen anybody get out of bed so fast. "So I believe we had a deal?" I giggled as I leaned into his chest and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around me and we stood there like that for a few a mins before he gently slapped my butt and said "alright now I REALLY have to take a shower before school" I giggled and pushed him into the bath room "yea stinky I was abt to say" I said holding my nose playfully.
