ELSA'S POV

"It's oddly colder than usual," I mumble to no one in particular, tucking a few strands behind my ear I tear my gaze away from the worn-out page laid out for me and look outside the window.

Snow.

Before I even had the chance to take a closer look, it was abruptly interrupted to Anna singing at the hallways of the castle. Refraining from chuckling, I arch an eyebrow to the door before trailing my own feet to the doorway before peeking out.

And there I saw Anna, mindlessly dancing around the hallway and exclaiming something about 'Coronation.' And I freeze.

Tomorrow was Coronation day.

I curse silently, slapping my hand to my forehead before closing the door gently. Leaning on the door, my back slides down the smooth, white wood before my gaze locks to the familiar picture before me.

Rather, it was an old crayon drawing by Anna who specifically told me to place it on my desk table when we were still in the same room.

I chuckle humorlessly before my eyelids felt heavy as it closed shut, abandoning my trailing thoughts of the time when I was still close to Anna.

Oh, how it was an unfamiliar feeling of happiness bubbling inside of me.

"Elsa! Please bring Anna back inside, we prepared Hot chocolate for the both of you!" Anna lit up  as soon as the word 'hot chocolate' was mentioned. The sisters looked at each other and nodded to an understanding, Elsa holding onto her little sister's hand and scurrying back inside of the castle.

"Aw, look you're both covered in snow! I'm sure Jack Frost would have happily joined you both." Their mother laughed, helping Anna take off the thick coat that was enormously too big for her. Anna giggled helplessly, scurrying around for the long awaited hot chocolate. The older sister, Elsa looked at their mother questionably as if she was purely interested to who this 'Jack' was.

"Jack Frost?"  Elsa asked, taking off her own coat and walking with her mother. Her mother couldn't help but admire her daughter's curiosity to the fairy tale, she laughed and patted Elsa's head gently.

"He's just like you," Her words were simply, yet it help a deeper meaning to it. Elsa gave her a confused tilt of a head, before a comforting hand led them up to their room.

Discovering Anna already drinking the Hot Chocolate from her side table, Elsa hugged her Mother's legs as a sign of thanks.

She merely smiled at her daughter's actions, letting her go and rest for the day.

"Elsa! Look! I drew a picture of you and me!" Anna tugged harshly on Elsa's bed sheet, immediately taking her older sister's attention away from her drink.

"That's nice. We should put it in a frame." Anna nodded furiously, hurrying to her sister's desk before replacing an old picture frame with the drawing.

That was the the last day we slept in the same room, I thought, smiling to these treasured memories I suddenly remembered.

I tore my gaze away from the old picture frame, a sudden pang of sadness overlaping the foreign feeling away. Sighing, I look at the window. Blinking at the dim weather, a sudden wind bethrowing the kingdom of Arendelle before my heavy eye lids come to a shut.

SUDDEN FLASH BACK TO 8 YEARS AGO

"It's colder than usual," I mutter to no one in particular, fiddling with the dark navy blue cardigan I pulled closer to my small frame. Forcing my legs out of bed, I jump off my bed and notice how quiet it is.

Well, what am I saying? It has always been quiet ever since.

I look down to my white glove, protecting the surroundings in case my powers would cause havoc. That was the only purpose of it being there it seemed.

I walk closer to the window, going up to the cushions laid out in front of me. I put my two small hands to the board of wood and looked at the outside.

Majority of the view was the inside of the castle, that didn't really spare me any brief glances to the villagers outside. Sometimes, if I were lucky enough I'd get the chance to sneek a peek to one of the children my age playing.

My view was abruptly cut off by a deeper voice, no doubt a male. I blink, and refocus the scene played out in front of me.

A boy, who's hair is pure white as snow but sadly not even groomed due to it's messy exterior. His long sleeved- almost jacket-like top was designed with thin snow flake patterns surrounding the upper part of it. Brown, ripped pants that reached right below his knee's, and he wasn't wearing any footwear at that.

I blink. Nothing happens. I blink again, still, the male was still stuck to the outside of my window.

I panic, my arms flailing around joint in to express my outburst of scared and terrified. I look back at the male, he looked deeply in pain because of him slamming himself straight to my window.

Am I supposed to feel remorseful? Pitiful even, for the poor guy? I probably should.

I took a deep breath, preparing myself to open the hardened glass window. It's worth a try.

I hold tightly onto the handle, proceeding to pry it open at the very least. But to my dismay, it's pretty jammed in. I pull once more until I tumble back, along with the heavy body of the male lying on top of me.

I squeal in embarassment, pushing him off with a grunt and glance at his face. Checking his pulse, I knew as far as even if they're unconscious make sure their pulse is still running.

Lucky, he's still breathing. I use all my will power to put him in a decently comfortable position, before sighing for my drained out energy.

Why do I get the feeling like I've heard about him from somewhere?
