As we stay in this room that clutches me,
Makes my mind boom with thought,
And reminds me of our past as kids,
A feeling that is so vast rises.
It hasn't displayed itself to me for years,
And was the cause for all my tears,
But looking back, it was all the love,
And care of you that pulled me through. While we talk, I find my voice gets caught,
Because I know it's almost time.
The feeling that comes to masses,
In ways that run a mile long.
Being left on our own,
Our story is all that's known,
Of children who have grown alone. It went so fast and they wouldn't last
The heat was to severe, not only that
They weren't at the back,
I can still recall our fear.
In a room like this,
Was where they would have sit,
When their hearts were deemed unlit,
Right then as there, our family
Became bare as it turned into a pair. Now that we're here again,
In this room where families disappear,
Our pair will separate,
I'll join the rest unlit,
Like you further on in a room like this,
Our family will join together again all unlit.
