Chapter 40- Lake House.

Bella's POV

We're on our way to the Lake House. I was riding with Zayn. Liam and Sophia was in Liam's car. El and Louis in his car and Harry and Niall in their own cars. After the little incident about the text thingys, i decided to not talk about it.

Im kinda avoiding them for the time being because they'll want to talk to me about it and i dont want to talk about that now. I just want us to enjoy our vacation for once. No dramas.

I felt a hand touching mine. It was none other than Zayn. I looked at him

"Bella, You okay babe?" He asked facing the road but looking at me every once in a while.

"Yea. Im perfectly fine." I said and squeezed his hand a bit reassuring him. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hey babe, listen abou yester--" i cut him off. I dont want to talk about this.

"Look! We're here!" I said. I heard him sigh. Sorry babe... I just dont want to talk about anything related to dramas.

Zayn turns the ignition off and we got out of the car. I saw Liam's car stopping behind our car and the other's following him. Then i saw El and Sophia getting out of their cars and running towards me. I laughed.

"Bella!" They said and hugged me.

I laughed harder.

"C-cant b-breath!" I said. They were both squishing me!

"Oh! Sorry!" Sophia said and they quickly got off me. I chuckled.

"Bella, you didn't tell us that your Lake House is this big and beautiful. God, girl! " El said staring at the house behind me with amazement.

"You never asked." I said and winked at her. She rolled her eyes.

"You girls go ahead. We'll stay here and get our stuffs kay?" Liam said.

We nodded. Such gentlemen..

"What are we waiting for? Christmas? You heard him! Let's go!" Sophia said and we ran inside the house.

Zayn's POV

"So did you try to tell her?" Harry asked. I sighed and nodded.

"Ofcourse i did but she always cut me off. I can feel she doesn't want to talk to us about it." I said. They sighed.

The lads and i cant seem to talk to Bella about mine and Harry's little incident on the phone. Well, she's kinda avoiding us.

"How about.. Let's just not talk about this incident with her for now. Let's just have fun today! For our whole stay here in the Lake house! Come on lads, let's all agree.. No drama while we're here.." Niall said. We looked at eachother, the lads and I. and we seem to undestand eachother. We nodded in agreement.

"So that's it! No dramas for our whole stay here." Lou said. We smiled.

"What are you all standing there for? Come in! This house is awesome!" Sophia said. We chuckled and went inside and woah. It really is awesome. It's some kind of the cozy type but cool house. There's even a  pinball machine! How cool is that?

"Hey umm. Where's Bella?" I asked.

"Oh she's in the back by the lake." El said. I nodded and went out of the back door. I saw her sitting, hangging her feet on the water by the dock.

I walked towards her.

"So why is a very beautiful woman alone out here?" I said. I saw her jumped a bit, startled by me. I smiled. She turned around and smiled.

"Because she was waiting for a very handsome man to come to her " she said. I chuckled and sat beside her.

"Looks like that very beautiful woman got her wish. I mean, who could possibly be more handsome than me?" I said. She chuckled and shook her head.

"Now, now Zayn.. Lower that ego of yours.. Dont want them reaching the sky and may cause an airplane to crash dont we now?" She said. I chuckled.

"As you wish my princess." I said and playfully bowed. She giggled and faced me pecking me on the lips which caught me by surprise.

She stood up and i was just sitting there shocked by the surprise kiss.

"Are you just gonna sit there and freeze to death or you wanna go inside and let's get all cozy?" She asked and winked at me. I chuckled and stood up holding her hand.

"Let's go." I said and we walked towards the house.

As we enter, we saw Louis and El about to walk out of the house.

"Where are you two going?" Bella asked with a smirk playing on her lips.

"Well, we decided to go swimming." El said. I chuckled.

"You mean skinny dipping?" I asked. Her mouth agape and so did Louis'

"What?! No! Ofcourse not!" She said and blushed. Bella giggled.

"There's nothing to be embarassed about El. Have fun." Bella said and winked at them. Louis was just standing there shock. I chuckled at his face expression. Bella pulled me away from them and we walk towards the stairs.

"You're welcome to join us!" We heard Louis shout. Look who's back from his own world? Bella and i laughed.

"I would prefer to not see you naked Louis." Bella shouted back.

"Your loss!" Louis shouted. We laughed. Bella and I walked towards our bedroom. I plopped down on the bed and cuddled with the pillow.

"You know, Lou's offer wasn't very bad. We could try." I said smirking at her. Her jaw dropped to the floor.

"Pervert." She muttered.

"Hey, i heard that." I said. She giggled.

"They aren't going skinny dipping Bella. Lou and i were just joking around. Wanna swim with them?" I said wiggling my eyebrows.

She stared at me if i was serious.

Then she sighed defeated. Yes!

"Fine. Let me just go change." She said and went to the bathroom. I was already wearing my trunks underneath my clothes so Im prepared and ready to go. After a few minutes, Bella went out of the bathroom wearing her eye catching two piece.

I grinned at her. She rolled her eyes.

"Dont look at me like that mister." She said. I chuckled.

"Like what?" I asked as if i dont know what she's talking about.

"Like... That." She said and pointed to me.

"You look hot by the way." I said and winked at her. She blushed.

"I know." She said. My mouth agape.

Where's all these confidence coming from? Haha. But whatever it is.

I like her with confidence.

"Now, now, Bella. Lower that ego of yours? Dont want them reaching the sky and may cause an airplane to crash dont we now?" I said copying her words from earlier. She chuckled.

"It sounds better when im saying it." She said. I rolled my eyes.

"Your lucky i love you." I said.

She chuckled and smiled at me.

"I know babe." She said and winked at me.

"Come on, let's go out before this room explodes because both of our ego cant fit in this room. It's too big." I said and grabbed her hand as she laughed. I chuckled.
