Sunset

I stand upon a mountain

And look down below

Amongst the mountain tops

Covered in snow

I look west

Where the sun sets

And I see guilt and regret

Many decisions past

And east rises the moon

The future awaiting

Casting me in blue light

The decisions to come

I'm in the snow

But I don't feel cold

I want to

I want to freeze

The ice should tear

through my cold skin

And I should scream

Until my blood goes cold

But I don't

I just stand there

Watching

Upon both directions

West I watch helplessly

Bathing in regret

East I watch carelessly

Residing in ignorance

I want to leave this place

But I can't

Every time I believe I'm at peace

I wake up here
