Okay Amelia. Deep breaths, you can do this! A new school, new people. No biggie! Right? I get out of the bus and I walk proudly through the parking lot.
They're obviously staring at my black leather jacket, red crop top, black skirt and White Converse but do they really think I give a f*ck?
I continue strolling confidently until I reach the administrative block of Silverridge High School.
I go to the reception and I tap hard on the glass. The receptionist snaps back up from her sleep and gives me a plastic smile.
"Hi!" She yells a little too loudly into the reciever. "What can I do for you today?"
"I'm the new girl." I say.
"Oh! You must be Ms Preston. Well I'll give you your folder with all the information you need to start school."
The thrusts a pink folder at me and I grab it and turn away.
"I hope you have a wonderful time at Silverridge!" She screams at me.
I smirk and roll my eyes as I now walk into the Student block. I can do this!
Cameron's POV
"Dude, you have to go to this party on Friday!" My best friend Nate AKA the school's most notorious prankster and f*ck boy says as we slam our lockers shut after getting our books for the first period.
"Ugh..." I groan at the thought of it, "Why do we have to?"
"Uh... Maybe because Nicole Brown is holding it?"
"Parties aren't really my thing Nate. You know that!" I say defensively.
"Well it's our senior year. We have to!"
"Whatever." I say as we walk into English. "I'm not going."
"Your loss Cameron." He finally gives in and I smirk at having achieved not going to another high school party.
More lazy eyed students shuffle into the class and we settle down once Mrs Santiago walks in.
"Hi guys! Welcome to your Senior Year English class! I hope you enjoy your remaining time here."
People grunt in response and we get on with class.
After about an hour I have a horrible urge to pee and I run out into the halls after being excused. As I zoom up the stairs to the third floor I am suddenly jerked off my feet by an unknown body and I hear a large crash.
"What the hell?" I murmur as I rub my head gingerly.
I look down and I see a girl lying on the floor unconscious. "F*ck, f*ck what have I done!" I yell as I run down to her.
I shake her vigorously and since she doesn't wake up I bundle her up and I carry her to the parking lot. I drive my truck to the local hospital.
"What on earth happened son?" My mother who is also the head nurse screams.
"There was a little accident Mom." I say as I lug the girl into her arms.
"Well, I'm glad you helped her." And with that she drags her off to the ward.
"Dude where the hell were you?" Nate says as we walk to the cafeteria. I managed to slip into school just after the lunch time bell rang.
"Ugh. Long story."
"Whatever."
We get our meals and start eating in silence.
"Dude." Nate says as he chews his ham sandwich, "You'll never guess what happened while you were gone."
