I went to far and I know it, but I couldn't take the words back. I watch Julie talk to Bubbles and it looks like Julie is hurting her.
"She's doing 8 coach" Julie yells. Coach told her 4, so why does Julie tell her that she is doing 8? Julie lets go of Bubbles and Bubbles starts her laps. Julie comes over to me and helps me up.
"Why is she doing eight, Coach told her four?" I ask grabbing her hand.
"Because I say so" She says pulling me up. "I'm sorry about her did she hurt you?" I shake my head no.
"Okay" She says and walks away. I know Julie as a very nice person, so why would she hurt Bubbles like that? I also never seen her so angry before. Seriously! What is going on?
"Yo, Sunshine" I hear Bubbles from behind me, I turn around. " Sorry for attacking you." She says.
"It's okay, sorry for calling you a druggie" I say
"That's okay Sunshine, it's water under the bridge" She says smirking
"Stop calling me Sunshine" I say frustrated. She winks at me and walks towards the team. We split up into two teams, with Alyssa and Ashlyn in goal. I'm against Bubbles, no surprise there. Bubbles is a really good defender, but she is purposely attacking me. Once again I'm on the ground.
"Bubbles leave the poor girl alone." Mom yells
"I'm just playing the game." She yells back smirking. Julie just smiles and shakes her head.
"Oh Bubs" She says making the team laugh. I get back up and start again. This time I decide to go 1v1 with her. I go up to her and nutmeg her thinking i gotten pass her, but she takes the ball from behind me and I end up back on the ground. She kicks the ball to Alyssa and she picks it up. I lay on the floor groaning in frustration. My mothers, Julie, Alyssa, and Bubbles come up to me.
"Hey Sunshine, how is the sky looking?" Bubbles says. Julie elbows her in her side and I groan, putting my hands on my face. They laugh.
"Come on Mal. We have a game to finish." Mama says
" I promise that Bubbles wouldn't mess with you" Mom says "Stop terrorizing my daughter" She says playfully slapping her on her arm. She puts her hands up and laughs. Alyssa helps me up and we continue the game. Bubbles's team ends up winning 3-1. We go to the locker room and some people take a shower, I just go to the bus. A few minutes later the team arrives. I feel a thump right next to me and groan.
"I'm happy to see you too Sunshine" Bubbles say smirking.
"You need to stop smirking" I groan
"Why?" She asks
"Because it's annoying" I say
"So you think I'm cute" She says smirking. I groan loud enough for the whole bus to hear. She just laughs.
"Leave the poor girl alone Bubbles." Hope says
"I'm not doing anything I think she just likes groaning." She says laughing. I jab her in the side. "You're violent too. Any other surprises Sunshine?" She asks raising an eyebrow and smirking. I shake my head at her and put my headphones on. She does the same and we sit in silence the rest of the way to the hotel.
