"I'm Sorry..."

It felt like a dream...was it real?

I looked at my left hand and saw the ring on my finger.

Yes it was definitely real.

A guy actually wants to marry me!

I wanted to spend every second of every day with him now that you were engaged.

Before I got out of bed I got a call.

I answered it without looking at the Caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Well did you not know it was me?" Grayson laughed

"Oh Grayson hey what's up?"

"Oh nothing just wanted to see if you wanted to do anything today."

I heard a knock on my door.

"Um yeah I want to do-" I looked at the open door in shock.

"Hello babe you still there?" Grayson asked.

"Um I'm gonna have to call you back." I said as I hung up the phone.

I was still looking at the man that was standing at my door in shock.

"What? You not gonna say hi?"

"Jay what are you doing here?"

"I wanted to see you!" Jay said as he walked up to lightly touched my face and kissed me.

I pulled back.

"I'm sorry...I just thought-"

"No Jay you can't be here! When I left (where you live) I left everything...we broke up remember!?"

"Yeah but I came to win you back...when you left you told me you loved me."

"Yes I know but that 2 years ago...I have moved on." I hid my engagement ring with my hand so I didn't hurt more of his feelings. "We broke up Jay."

He looked down and sighed "I just I love you..."
when he said that Grayson walked up to the door.

"Um (y/n)...who's this?" He asked

"Hi I'm-"

"An old friend!" I interrupted him.

"Um okay I didn't get an answer when you hung up so I just decided to come over...is that okay?"

"(Y/n) who is this guy?" Jay asked as he looked him up and down.

"Um he's my-"

"I'm her Fiancé. Nice to meet you" he said waiting for Jays name.

"Oh um it's Jay...I didn't know..." he looked at me apologetically

"What didn't you know exactly?" Grayson said obviously jealous as he crossed his arms.

"Nothing it's fine." I smiled at Grayson then at Jay.

I let out a deep breath not knowing how to explain Jay to Grayson.

"No it's not fine I want to know!" Grayson demanded

"Woah chill man!" Jay said "I just kissed her I didn't know she had a man okay."

I could see face boiling with anger as he pushed Jay on the wall.

"I'm not going to chill! You can't just go around kissing people expecting they are not in a relationship." He yelled.

Jay pushed him off then Grayson pushed him back.

"Guys stop!" I said but it didn't help any.

Grayson punched Jay out of jealousy.

Jay wiped his mouth and smirked as he punched Grayson back.

I couldn't handle any more you jumped in their way and pushed their chest.

"STOP!" I said looking at both of them "You are acting like children!"

I turned to Jay "Jay please leave I don't want anybody to get hurt anymore."

He nodded out of breath and walked out.

I looked at Grayson

"What was that!?" I yelled

"He kissed you (y/n) i wasn't gonna let him get away with that!"

"Grayson I think we need to take things a little slower..." I said as I held my arms

"(Y/n)..." he said softly as he walked up to me.

I backed away

"I think we need a little time away from each other...um I ju-I just don't want you to be mad...please." I said about to cry.

He punched someone I never saw that side of him before.

The angry side. 

he was always this loving nice cheerful person but tonight he showed an ugly unexpected side that I wasn't ready for.

He didn't have any words he just stood there for a moment trying to comprehend what just happened

"Okay..." he said softly as he walked out and slammed the door.

"I'm sorry..." I said letting your tears flow as I sunk to the cold hard tile on my kitchen floor.
