Tears and Pepper Spray

"Thank you Jay for today." I said as I walked to my apartment door.

"Well I'm glad you had fun...are you and Grayson okay? You seemed a little sick when you saw him at the beach."

"Um you know I don't know..." I looked down holding my elbows. "We're taking a break."

I hated saying that but I didn't know how to tell him I wanted back with him.

"Oh when did this happen?"

"The night-uh you came and had a fight...I have never seen him so angry I was afraid he would hurt me. I have never been so scared of him than I was that night."

Jay looked saddened by my story. "(Y/n) I know I said I loved you and I do I still do but-let me put it this way. Grayson may have been angry but he doesn't seem like the guy to hurt you. I wish you would love me the way he loves you. I can see in his eyes how much he wants to be with you (y/n) and taking a break it's-its killing him inside."

"What are you saying Jay?"

He puts his hands on the back of his neck and looks up pushing words out of him.

"What is saying is don't torture the guy...go to him do something about this crappy situation...only you can do it."

I smiled

"Jay I will always love you, you know that." I hugged him "thank you!"

I ran down the hall to go see Grayson.

"I love you too (y/n)"

Jay said as he took one more good look of me before I disappeared in the elevator.

"Bye (y/n)" he said before he shut his apartment door.

At Grayson's apartment
I was out of breath when I knocked on the door.

Ethan was standing there.

"Y/N? Wh-what are you doing here?" He said blocking the door.

"I came to see Grayson...is he here I need to talk to him." You moved his hand so you could go in. When I saw a girl snuggled up on the couch with Grayson.

"Gr-Grayson?" I said tears in your eyes.

He looked over to see me and completely pushed the girl off of him.

"(y/n) what are you doing here!?" He said as he walked up to me.

He saw a tear roll down my cheek.

"No no no (y/n) please don't cry." He said about to hug me

I moved back.

Seeing he was rejected he gave me space.

"(Y/n) this is completely a misunderstanding!"

The girl walked up to him "um excuse me?" She said as she crossed her arms.

"Octavia please leave." Grayson said to her.

"No stay Octavia...I'm sorry Grayson! I shouldn't have-" I couldn't finish my sentence before I ran out.

I ran to the parking lot and sat right next to my car and cried into my lap.

I heard footsteps approach me.

"I have pepper spray sir...and I'm not afraid to use it." I said sniffling

He knelt down to me

"(Y/n) it's me." Grayson said as he sat down in front of you.

"Grayson please don't rub it in."

"I'm not-"

"Was this your way of payback for me hanging out with Jay? Do you want to hurt my feelings so desperately!?"

"No that's not-"

"I'm sorry Grayson"

"(Y/n) please let me talk!" He said as he touched my knee.

I looked up at him for him to continue.

"I didn't go out with her to hurt you...I went out with her to move on because I thought you did...but the truth is the whole time I was with her I could only thing of you."

"What?" I said looking at him.

"(Y/n) the only girl I could ever love is you! She was just a one time thing that will never ever happen again! You are the one I want!"

"You're the only one I want."

His face brightened up

"Really!?" He said in amazement

"Yes" I said wiping a tear from my face "that's what I came here to tell you."

He picked me up and twirled me around when he put me down and we put our foreheads together.

He moved his lips to my waiting for me to give him the okay.

Our noses touched and he kissed me for the first time in 2 weeks.

It felt like a dream the best thing I have ever felt.

"So.." he said my nose against his, smiling "you still want to marry me?"

I rolled my eyes and pulled him in for another kiss.

We broke apart

"Is that a yes?"

I laughed as I nodded

"Yes Grayson I Do"

"Woah were not that far yet." He said playfully.

I laughed as I gave him a hug and whispered in his ear

"I love you Grayson Dolan."
