Chapter Four

Thursday.

It had finally come. James walked out of the school building with Brent beside him. There wasn’t any practice today so James could catch up with Janet and head to her house with the rest of the crew, WHICH WERE Brent and some other football players along with their girl friends.

Janet was sitting with some of the other girls under a large oak tree that was growing in the grassy yard. She had long dark brown hair that looked almost black that went down in a wavy length. Her blue sapphire eyes twinkled against the suns ray. Out of all the girls at Saint Christopher Academy, she was the best looking, even James had to admit. Maybe she would end up being the girl he’d been waiting for. He began to think why he hadn’t approached her sooner, despite all he had heard about her sleeping around. It wasn’t like he was going to ask her to marry him.

The group of girls noticed James instantly and began to giggle in unison. One of them flipped their hair flirtatiously while Janet batted her eyelashes. Chicks and their flirting…

“Hey.” Janet said putting an arm through James’s. A bit too close for his taste, but he restrained from pushing her head first into the grass. “So, you ready to go? My house is just a short walk.” She began to pull James along with Brent behind them snickering, which was his way of saying “your ganna get some.”

James could only roll his eyes as he watched Brent usher the other jocks and girls to follow. It really wasn’t a long walk, only a few blocks and also in a nice calm neighborhood. James was surprised that she actually lived so close to him.

Everyone had finally reached the house, but Janet turned around to her group of friends before opening the door. “My mom doesn’t get home till seven so everyone should try to leave around six, just in case.” Everyone nodded in agreement. “Alright, let’s go.”

Once inside, everyone sat down in the living room cuddling in chairs and one of the love seats. James naturally went to talk with Janet and cuddled with her. It wasn’t long before they found themselves making with each other’s hands roaming around. In between kisses, Janet breathed little whispers in James’s ear. “I want you.”

Suddenly James felt a large gutting feeling in the pit of his stomach. God, it was always when the girls asked his to do it with him, not to mention he was just not having a fair week, especially after his little encounter at the candy shop. That guy just kept popping up everywhere. The only thing that could make his day worse was if he just suddenly appeared in Janet’s house.

“Janet, the hell?”

Eyes turned to the voice only to receive a glaring boy with blond and pink hair over his blue narrow eyes. He was wearing a black band T-shirt with a v-neck that clung tightly to his upper body, along with a pair of dark gray skinny jeans with a couple of chains hanging on his left side.

James heard Janet mutter a curse before composing herself and standing up. “Jan, what are you doing here?”

“I live here.” He deadpanned.

“Well duh… I mean what are you doing home so early?”

“What, can I not come home?” Jan rolled his eyes at his sister’s obvious attempt to hide the fact she had people over without permission. He looked around at the large group of preps before looking back at his sister and noticing the hickies on her neck. “Slut.” James couldn’t help himself, but smirk a bit.

“What are you laughing about you prick?”

James frowned when the boy, who was actually known as Jan, noticed him and recognized him instantly causing him to clench his teeth and narrow his eyes. Out of all the places, they ran into each other just a couple of days apart and where did they happen to bump into each other again? Janet’s house.  Who the hell was he anyway? Janet never spoke of any siblings nor did anyone ever mention anything about him.
