(Brendon's POV)"Hey babe, I have a hair appointment; why don't you take Penny and Bogart to the dog park? They haven't been out in a while." Sarah asks
"Sure, no prob." I reply with a quick peck on her lips.
God, I love Sarah.I leashed up the dogs and put them in the car with me and drove off to the dog park. It was a relatively nice day, the sun was shining and there was a cool breeze blowing through my car window as I drove down the road.
Finally after your typical LA traffic we made it. I opened the gate to the enclosed park and let my dogs run out.
Shit, this place is huge.
Before you know it they're out of my sight. So I stumble around for a few minutes trying not to seem so awkward while I look for my dogs.
Thank God, Penny's playing with another dog.
"Aww, Penny who's your new friend?" I coo.
I look up to see beautiful warm brown eyes looking back at me; like I'm an alien. Where have I seen these before? Then I realize."Brendon?" An unsteady voice asks.
"Hey Ryan!" I manage to get out without dying.

A million words are rushing through my head at once.
"Oh, this is my dog Dottie." He smiles weakly motioning down to the basset hound next to him.
"This is Penny Lane." I laugh awkwardly. I already know he loves the Beatles reference. "Bogart's around here somewhere, I didn't realize how big this place is."
"Haha yeah." He replies also with a light uncomfortable laugh.
I can't decide if I want to die right now or stay in his presence forever.______
First fic I've really written... well besides a Harry Potter fic when I was 9 lmao. Anyways feedback is appreciated 'cause I suck at writing. Hope you enjoyed the first chapter/prologue since it's really short. (Here's a pic of Ry and Bogart, Brendon's dog from Pretty. Odd. Era! Hence the bowl cut lol)

Then Why are We Both Blue?
FanfictionBased off a text post I saw about how we need Dottie meeting Penny Lane and Bogart instead of a ryden reunion. I decided that's not enough, there needs to be some ryden involved.
