Gabe POV

"Mom! I can't find my shoes!", I yell frustrated, I'm going to be late and it's only my first day and I'm already going to be on the teachers nerves.

"Um, Gabriela. They're in here. Where have you been looking?" At that very moment, I realize it wasn't a good idea to be hanging upside down on my bed, and the universe agreed as I tumbled onto the floor of my bedroom. "Shit!" I cursed silently, of course, while rubbing my head.

I quickly ran into the living room slipping into my shoes, actually almost slipping a few time while doing so, grabbing my backpack while running into the kitchen to grab a piece of toast before flying out the front door. Time for true hell, school and society. I roll my eyes as I picked up my pace, "Stupid people. Stupid Earth. St-" Just as I was about to finish my sentence I tripped over a pebble, a freaking pebble. I sighed and slowly started to get up off the summer warmed pavement, when a hand was held in front of my face. Slowly looking up frightened, I came face to face with a tomboyish emo with short black hair with a blonde streak, piercings, and green eyes. I didn't notice how long I was staring until she cleared her throat, clearly uncomfortable with the situation at the moment.

"Uh, you going to take my hand or just sit there and stare at me like a monster." She said with such sadness, I wanted to hug the life out of her.

"Um, oh, uh yeah. Sure." I replied taking her hand slowly, letting her pull me up.

"That was quite the fall, for such a small pebble." She smirked a little,"You aren't going to last at this school."

I just noticed I was at the entrance of the school, I wonder how many other people saw my embarrassing wipe out by the rock. I laughed a little, rubbing my neck slowing.

"Thanks...um.."

"Taylor."

I snickered a little, "Isn't that a boy's  name. You're a girl though."

Her smirk turned into a glare and a snarl. She snapped, "I am a boy. And you're not welcome." With that s- he walked off, into the school away from me, a judgmental person who just insulted him for his gender. I face palm and sigh.

"I'm so going to die here," I say to myself.

Walking almost as if in slow motion, I walk into the school building. As I walk in, the entire place seemed to go quiet, I would of though that happened on the first day in the classroom, but I guess not. Everyone was looking at me as if they just saw a ghost or something truly terrifying.

"Oh new girl is so going to die. She pissed off the wrong delinquent, bros." A random guy, that looked kinda of like a stereotypical football player said, staring at me with the rest of the students.

A pink blob ran in front of me, even I had to look down to see the pink haired girl looking up at me with fear, not at me though, for me.

"You made Taylor, the scariest guy in school mad? Are you insane? He'll wear your skin like a new leather jacket." She squeaked at me.

"I didn't-" Before I could finish my words a teacher cut me off telling everyone of the students to get to their classes.

As I start walking to my classroom like the rest of the students, everything will be fine, no one is ever as bad as anyone thinks, but for some reason, even I can't believe those words.

Opening the door to classroom 4c, I see some of the people from the hallway here. I show the teacher my schedule and when she asked the class if I could sit by any of them. There was only one hand that went up, which was connected to the girl with pink hair. "She can sit here Miss", she said in her squeaky voice. I race over to the seat sitting down.

"I'm Rachael by the way." She smiles at me. "But most call me Bubble gum, for obvious reasons." She rambled, gesturing to the mop of pink hair put into short pigtails on the side of her head.

I smiled, "She seems nice." I thought, looking down at the desk.

"Girls, class is starting." The teacher said, interrupting us from going into other subjects.

"Yes Miss." We both responded, glancing at each other for a split second before looking at the board getting to work.

"Looks like I won't be so lonely after all." I smile at that thought.
