Chapter 1
Now that the year was 2013, secret cults and brotherhoods weren’t spoken of except briefly in passing, or in the telling of legends. Only few know that these legends are not myths at all, but rather the truth lying beneath the harmless cities in today’s world. When Grayson fell from God’s mighty realm, hundreds fell with him, creating a new race: the fallen angels, otherwise known as the Demons. You may heard of these creatures before, left to roam the earth for all eternity as penance for their wrongdoing. Some fell so long ago that they forgot what they really are, and started believing they were human. Here for the first time is their history, spoken out loud:
The Alpha race was created as a paranormal race made up of all the mighty alphas throughout the world. The Alphas were said to be the one cult able to finish off the Demons once and for all. Everyone had turned a blind eye to the fallen angels. Once the Demons had gotten out of control the Alphas called for a war, after many years of waiting the expected war broke out, the Alphas marched out onto the battlefield rain dripping from their faces to be greeted by the Demons. The fallen angels were unusually happy, grins on their faces as they looked into the Alphas eyes, for the Demons had a secret weapon, Grayson. He singe-handedly brought the Alphas to their knees without shedding a drop of his own blood. The Alphas, ashamed fled, spreading to different countries and making new roots, the Alphas were never talked of again and they were never seen again.
600 years have passed to this day since the Great War, and here I am, one of the few original members of the Alpha cult. Today is the day that we take back our glory. Today we will rise once more.
Here she was standing not even 20 feet away as I was the girl from the prohecy, it had been a hard and long wait for her. She was the prophecy, she was the one that would change everything. She would set the world straight she would know all the secrets, she would later be known as the worlds secret holder, once we were gone once all the original Alphas were gone, once Grayson was defeted, she would be the last one left, she would hold the worlds secrets. I'd been watching her grow up, into the warrior she will go down in history as. Today she would be set free she would be let go from the clasps of her parents, and led into the real world. She was ready now, ready to know what the world had to offer, and I was going to show it to her. Today she is going off to University and at last we would finally properly meet.
It is vitally important that she the prophecy, didn't get into the hands of the wrong person; only 800 years ago did I come across the prophecy. It has said that "She a person so small so fragile so unbelievably brave would one day keep the secrets that must be hidden." The most powerful person in the world was standing infront of me laughing and smiling being care free not yet knowing what her life will soon be like, the pain she will have to feel, the things she will have to face.
Her innocence was almost unbearable, soon she will know what role she plays and that smile from her perfect lips will fade, all her amusment will be gone, the person she is will fade away, as she becomes the main character in the battle between darkness and light. I pulled my hood up letting the shadow cover my face only allowing my lips show I tilted my head down glancing up at her while she smiled. Her smile slowly slipped off of her lips as she became more serious, she turned her head and looked straight in my direction, her eyes locked straight with mine. I put my head down and receded back into the shadow turning my back and swiftly walked away.
Katerina's Point Of View
I felt someones eyes upon my face and I slowly turned in the direction of where I felt it. I saw someone in a dark cloak his head tilted down not allowing me to see his face, only his mouth was visible. He tilted his head further down making the hood cover fall into place and the shadow covering his face, he turned on his heel and briskly walked away.
"Katerina?" I heard my dads voice pulling me back into the real world, and away from my thoughs. I looked in the direction of the mysterious person then turned around.
"Are you alright?" He asked me whlie giving me a kiss on my forehead.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I thought I just saw someo- nevermind, today's the big day!" I said taking a deep breath in and putting my hands in the front pocket of my jeans.
"Our little Kitty Kat is growing up so fast! " My mom said giving me a hug.
Oh god, why can't I just have a normal life? I thought as I gave my mom a hug. We walked inside the dorm arms full of boxes, before the door closed I turned around to the spot the guy was standing in, only to see the border of the forest.
