Chapter 10
Xavier's POV
I watched her hair flutter in the gentle uneven winds, her skin that was more radiant than the sun itself glistered in the bright sky. She licked her lips as she furrowed her eyebrows, her fist tightened as she stared ahead.
Determination reflected in the pupils of her eyes, "orders from who." She questioned her jaw tightened as she strong-fully gazed ahead, I felt my insides clenched as I looked upon her, she was doubtful beautiful.
Despite being tangled in a deadly situation I couldn't help admired my beloved, her beauty was simply out of the world and made me easily fall under a trance. I faced the woman across us, her pitch black eyes that seemed be brewed from death itself.
I faced the blonde haired girl, her pitch black eyes that smiled cruelly towards Aphrodite. I felt a sense of pride tighten in my stomach as my beloved had stood strong and proud, I breathed out deeply as I heard the next words.
"William." I watched as her expression had fallen and her fists tightened, I grounded my teeth as the sky around us had become relatively dark and the wind began to pick up. I eyed Aphrodite as I took a cautious step towards her, "my beloved." I breathed out lowly as I reached forward in ache for my fingers to run across her skin.
The woman identified as Xena had smirked evilly towards us, "words only mean so much, General Dita, you should know that." Xena craned her neck as the weather began to change around us, I gasped as the thunder striked the ground, the Dragur's letting out low growls.
"King Xavier." Caden raised his hands in order to block the harsh winds, Braxton had already reached towards her, close to touching her skin, I quickly pulled him back as my gut ached with a institution of danger.
The area around Aphrodite began a spiraling tornado, with winds that seemed to be more rough than the skin of Dragur's. I gasped as I saw the flash of red eyes, "William. Will never hurt me." She grounded her teeth as she took another step forward, the ground itself shaking.
Xena smirked, "he only treated you that way because you were meant to be an useful antidote for his curse." She paused in her words, her lips tilting as she done so, "or have you forgotten that you are the one to curse him." She let out a light laugh.
This man William, whoever he was had posed an be a significant person to her, she appeared to be simply destroyed by the mention of being betrayed by him.
I locked eyes with Braxton briefly as I heard the roar of the Dragur's as the ground shook, there feets pounding against the ground as they rushed forward in urgency, I watched as Braxton scrambled in front of Aphrodite and shifted within the air and launched an attack against the first Dragur.
I grasped my breath as I looked towards Aphrodite, her power was indeed frightening but it made me still want to protect her, explosions of the Dragur's bodies painted the solid ground as the bodies fell and the growls and hiss were swallowed into the rough sounds of the thundering.
I shuttered as I barely had noticed the blood red eyes from my beloved, my chest tightened as I finally had come to a cruel conclusion, my beloved was a beast.
Aphrodite's POV
Some had spoken of God's fury being the most deadly event that occur others say Satan's brutality is something known for being the ending of the world underneath his fingers, though it had seemed my rage had surpassed the limits within the borders.
My eyes sharpened as I took another step seeing as another Dragur exploded in my view, the battle-cries heard around me echoing like ringing bells. The woman ahead smiled darkly at me as if she was amused by my actions as she twirled a piece of her hair, I clenched my teeth as the ground beneath me cracked and molded around my feet.
