"You're the heaviest sleeper I've ever met."

I squinted my eyes and groaned, rolling off of my stomach, propping myself up slightly to face a smirking Brendon Urie.

"Thanks, pal." I pushed his leg and sat up fully, taking in our surroundings.

Considering the color of the sky was a bright orange, blending softly into purple and pink, it seemed to be a little after sunrise.

I also noticed we were parked outside of a grungy gas station.

"The guys are inside, probably buying more snacks. Want to grab a coffee?"

"Where are we?" I yawned and stretched out my limbs, purposely pushing my legs against Brendon.

He grinned. "Bakersfield."

I nodded and hurriedly covered my mouth with my hand once I noticed the horrible taste in my mouth. My breath must be awful.

"So, coffee?" I asked.

Brendon raised his eyebrows before nodding quickly and sliding open the van door, releasing the warm, morning air into the car.

"Do you just want to grab some for me?" I smiled at him and curled back up into the seat, cuddling my pillow into my chest.

"No sugar or cream, please." I mumbled into the seat.

Brendon snorted and began to pull on my ankles. "You need to stretch out! Get some fresh air! Enjoy the morning sun you lazy fucker."

I laughed wildly, screaming as he pulled me out of the van and forced me to stand up.

"Okay, but I won't enjoy it." I pouted and shielded the sun from my eyes with my hand.

"You're too grumpy, let's go get caffeine! Now c'mon." Brendon stuffed his hands in his jean pockets and skipped into the gas station.

Brendon's Point of View

"I'll go get us coffee." Elizabeth pulled on my forearm and pointed at the register. "Do you still like double the cream?"

I nodded gingerly and glanced down at her fingers as they hesitantly tightened around my bicep before releasing as she walked away.

Was it me or did she hold on a bit longer than a normal person would?

I nervously tugged my shirt sleeve down over my arm and took a seat next to the other guys at the round coffee table in the center of the gas station coffee shop.

"Did you buy any real food, Ryan? Or did you only manage to buy crackers and cheese whizz." Jon laughed.

Ryan glared back at him before spraying more of the cheese directly into his mouth.

"That's disgusting." Elizabeth cringed as she sat across from me and set my coffee on the table. "You guys need to eat real food before you perform tonight."

"Where's the first stop again?" I asked Josh as he spread out a map across the table.

"The House of Blues in San Diego. It's about, four hours from here, so we will have some time to spare, which will be nice."
