***a couple years later***
Samantha's POV:
Luke I have been together for almost 5 years. We moved to Nashville together after he graduated from GSU. As you can already see I left college to be with Luke and to me, it's the bet decision I could've made. Luke's career is going really well. He signed a record deal with Capitol Records about 2 years back and before that he had been writing songs for Billy Currington and Travis Tritt. He released his first album early this year (2007) called I'll Stay Me and it blew up on the charts! It was a big hit.
After Luke graduated and Luke signed his record deal, the studio gave him a housing budget so we could get a place near town. We found a house in a small development outside Nashville and Luke and I have been living there ever since. The house is bigger than I ever expected and there's unused land in the back that Luke uses when he wants to go hunting. Sometimes I even go with him. But when I do, hunting isn't what we do. ;) those blinds are pretty sturdy.
Luke has dirty mind sometimes. Yes I have done it in a hunting blind, judge me. Luke's great anywhere, in bed at home, in the back of his truck, a hunting blind, well you get the picture.
Lately since Luke and I have gotten more intimate he's been happier and almost nervous about something. He always finds a way to make me feel special. He is amazing and sweet and he takes care of me and always makes sure I'm okay before he goes to the studio.
Lately I haven't been feeling that great and I don't know. I haven't told Luke though because he told me there is a possibility he will be going to on tour soon. I'm not sure what to do. I think I'm gonna try to wait it out but if I still don't feel good by the end of the week then I'm gonna go to the doctor. Hopefully Luke can take me if he isn't working.
I'm worried I might be pregnant but I didnt tell Luke. We aren't even married yet! I'm sad though because my daddy passed away before we left for Nashville of a heart attack. I miss him but Luke was always there for me. He also went through the same thing not too long ago. His sister Kelly passed away after his album came out. It really hit him hard but I've been helping him get through it.
It's been hard because now that we live in Nashville we can't see girls or Til, their brother a lot like we did when Luke and I were in college.
**a couple days later**
I still don't feel good so I called Luke at the studio.
"Hey baby I'm glad you called." He answered.
"Hey you busy." I asked.
"No today's kind of a break day. What's up?" He asked.
"Uh, I'm not feeling that great, could you take me to the doctor?" I asked.
"Sure honey I'll be right there. I love you." He said.
"Thanks Luke, love you too." I hung up.
I got changed and slipped my boots on. Just as I was pulling my phone if the charge, I heard Luke pull up.
