Chapter 16

Sam's POV

Oh no. They. Are. Here. I am so screwed right now. I hope they won't notice us.

"Are you alright?" May asked, "You looked like you have seen a ghost." She added.

"I am fine." I answered, "I just saw a kids playing." I lied.

She raised an eyebrow and I think she is confused, "Ok...?" She agreed but with a questioning tone.

"Come on. It is near 6:00 p.m." I said.

She nodded and we hopped in the car.

Jacob's POV

I am so confused on the actions Sam is doing. And May is not attending school since Monday and I am so worried about her. But we decided to hang out and have fun. And I decided we will go to the park.

"So, did May or Sam texted you, guys?" I asked.

"Nope." They answered at the same time.

"I hope they are just fine or maybe they are just sick or something." Layla said.

"Do you want to hear a joke?" Stella asked us. And we all nodded. "So, when I get a job on a business in the future and my boss tells me to have a great day, what do you think I should do?"

"Uh...don't get stress." Rafael answered. And Stella shook her head as a NO.

"What are you going to do?" Lily asked.

"Well, I will just go home." She said and we all laughed and maybe that is right.

"Where did you get that?" I asked.

"On the internet." She answered. And I nodded.

"I am so worried about May." I said truthfully.

"Maybe you love her." Rafael said while wiggling his eyebrows.

"Shut up." I said.

"Mhmm. Maybe he does." Stella said.

"I do not." I said with a serious face.

"Ok." Layla said with her hands in a surrendering position.

"Come on, we need to go." I said, "It is already 6:05."

"Already?" Lily whined like a kid.

"Yep." I said.

Lily frowned.

"Don't worry." Leo said, "We will go on another one with May and Sam." Leo assured her.

"Ok." She agreed, and then Layla went beside me that make me scared a little bit.

"Hey, Jacob do you have any plans on the weekend?" She asked me.

"No." I answered.

"Ok. Can we go and hang out?" She begged, "Only the two of us?" she added. Wait, does this girl like me?

"Uh...sure."

"Ok. See you on Saturday." She said happily and I nodded.

May's POV

This is going to be fun! I am so excited to go in the Amusement Park. And for the truth here, I think I like Sam, like more than just friends.

"So, are you excited?" He asked me that cut me off of my train of thoughts.

"Yeah." I said excitingly.

"Well, don't be so excited." He said.

"Ok."

"So, in Monday I get to meet our other friends?" I asked.

"Yeah." He answered, "They will be happy."

"I can't wait." I said.

He chuckled and a blush creeps out of my cheeks.

After minutes but it feels like forever, we finally arrived at the Amusement Park. It is so big and looks fun too.

"May?" he asked me.

"Yeah?"

"Later at 11:00, there will be a firework display and I reserved us in the Paris Wheel." He said and I hugged him.

"Thanks for making me happy, Sam." I thanked him and he hugged me back.

"No problem."

"Let's go and win a stuffed toy." I said excitedly breaking our hug and pulling him to an arcade that we should shoot basketballs.

Sam's POV

We finally arrived; it seemed like forever when you are stuck in traffic. And we are immediately playing an arcade.

"Please win that Panda." May said while pointing to the panda bear.

"OK." I agreed, "You will have it." I assure her and she nodded.

After 5 minutes of playing, I won her the Panda Bear.

"Thanks, Sam!" she thanked me in a super squeaky tone that makes her more cute.

"No problem." I said.

"Come on, let's go and ride the rollercoaster."

"Ok." I agreed.

After a moment, we found a rollercoaster named "The Omega Runner".

"This looks fun," She said and gulped, "and scary." She added.

"If you like to, we will not ride this."

"Yeah. Can we go for the carousel?" She asked.

"Ok." I agreed.
