Chapter 4

- After 2 weeks -

Third Person's POV

After two weeks of schooling, Sam's bet is almost over and he can't find a chance to get May to be his girlfriend. May and her friends are a little busy because of some projects in schools, like the: Foundation, Sports Fest, and etc.

"Hey guys, are you almost done with the signs for the foundation of our school?" May asked her friends and she is so tired.

"Maybe...I mean almost done." Sam answered. As soon as he answered it, May sniffed and coughed.

"Are you alright?" asked Jacob with a gentle voice.

"Yep, I am fine. I mean it's just a cough. Nothing to worry about." She answered and coughed.

Stella walked towards May and touched May's forehead. 

"May, your hot! You need to rest and we can handle this." Stella said and she starts to work again."Go upstairs and rest. Clark, Leo accompanied her and Sam, Jacob make hot mushroom soup. And the others help me with these projects!" Stella commanded them and they all followed her and May is so sick.

May's POV

When did I get sick? You asked me. Well... the answer is I don't know when and how. It all started awhile ago when we are starting the lettering and signs to the upcoming event. Stella is a good friend, she always check me if I am feeling bad or good, she is a true friend of mine.

"You need to rest May. It will help you feel better than ever." Clark said and it inspires me.

"Okay. But can I watch T.V?" I asked while lying on the bed so tired.

"Yeah, but not too much. Jacob and Sam will be cooking mushroom soup and they will take care of you while we will do the projects. Don't worry, Okay?" he answered my question and he also told me to not worry about them.

"Okay, I understand." I said.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Come in, guys!" I said, "See you guys tomorrow and make sure the project is good." I said and hugged them.

Sam's POV

We researched the recipes for the mushroom cream soup and luckily they have all the ingredients. After that, we grabbed all the ingredients and followed the procedures.

- After 20 minutes -

Jacob's POV

We are good chefs, and wow...May's room is huge. She has a nightstand beside her bed, a reading table beside her desktop table and her bed so pink and white.

"Hey May, here is your soup. We made it on our own. Hope you'll like it!" I said while putting it on her breakfast-on-bed table.

"Hope you will feel better!" Sam said while he is scooping a spoonful of it.

"I don't like it." She said and we feel sad about it,"just kidding, I love it. You two can be successful chefs!" she teased us and I feel happy and confident now.
