7 bolt of lightning

It was morning and we were getting ready to leave. Nancy was wearing her simple dress. (Even though she hates dresses)

I wore khaki shorts and a khaki shirt, and to add to it a scarf. Ugh. The whole outfit had more than 12 pockets.

Before I went out the door, I grabbed my satchel of the table and put it on.

I checked to see what was inside. There were numerous items. Water, snacks, a diary, and my source of protection, my wand.

I figured since I've never used a wand before I better practice. I took the stick out of my bag and pointed out at my bed.

"I want you to turn into a brand new song book. What should I say? Abracadabra?" I thought. "Well it's worth a shot."

I pointed the wand at the bed. "Abra-" I didn't get a chance to say anymore before someone snook upon me.

"Ahhh!" I yelled. But before I could turn around to see who was at the door, I was busy ducking.

A bolt of lightning was headed right for me.

Gratefully, it didn't hit me. Instead it hit the unexpected visitor, Nancy. Her face was completely black and her hair was sticking up like a porcupine's back.

"Nancy!"
"I'm OK," Nancy mumbled before she fell to the ground. I ran into the hallway and called for help.

Instantly Jayden came to the rescue.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nancy! She was hit by a bolt of lightning!"

"I think mouth to mouth will help a lot of problems around here," he said.
