My leg bounces as we drive down the gravel road in Blaiz's black matte Jeep Wrangler. It only took two days for us to get packed and everything settled for moving into the Newberry pack. Alpha Sebastian was the one who cried the most, which was expected since we became so close. Comet was sad and disappointed that I wouldn't get to meet her mate whenever he decides to show up. Wulf was sad but he didn't cry and hold me for dear life like Alpha Sebastian did.

Oliver was excited and all for the move. Blaiz said we would buy all new things when we got to Michigan and I totally agreed with him. There was just something about going back to that yellow house that freaked me out. The house was once cheerful, but after Zachary destroyed the living room the house didn't feel the same to me.

The drive to Newberry took two weeks because we wanted to take our time and sightsee. We even made sure to stop for the night and rest. I couldn't sightsee everywhere though since I'm unfortunately still in a half-shift. I can't wait to shift, but I have a slight fear that I will be stuck in this half-shift forever. This could possibly be how I look for the rest of my life. And I would be lying if I said that meeting Blaiz's family and previous pack looking like this doesn't freak me out and embarrass me.

I'm currently freaking out as Blaiz maneuvers the car through the trees and follows the gravel road to a massive pack house. Blaiz already told me we weren't going to be staying at the pack house because he wants to have a house of our own. So, he bought a house that was already on the Newberry pack grounds so we can still visit the pack house and go for runs without being spotted by humans. Well, Blaiz can go for runs, and when Oliver shifts he can go for runs, me, I won't scare anyone if I sit outside.

"Baby," Blaiz says gently as he takes my hand in his. He lifts it up and kisses my knuckles. "It's gonna' be alright, I promise," He whispers so he doesn't wake Oliver in the back.

"But, I've never been good with people, Blaiz. What if they hate me?"

"Nope," Blaiz says sure of himself. "No one could hate you, baby. And I promise you with my life, no one is ever going to hurt you again,"

"But I look hideous, Blaiz. How can you stand to introduce me to your family and pack with me looking like a freak?" I ask as I tug on one of my wolf ears.

"Milo," He snaps. "You do not look like a freak. I think you are beautiful and with your wolf coming out it only makes you even more beautiful. Now, stop fretting like a mother and show everyone that handsome pearly white smile I love,"

I frown and look forward to notice he stopped the Wrangler and people stand waiting for us. I immediately notice the young teenage girl wearing all black leaning against the railing on the porch with her arms crossed over her chest and a smirk on her pretty face. Then I notice the rest. My eyes go wide and I sink in the seat and immediately cover myself with the blanket I have in my lap. Blaiz chuckles as he jumps out of the car.

"Come on, Milo," He coos in a baby voice that has me violently shaking my head and sinking further into the seat. The seatbelt digs into my neck painfully so I unbuckle it and cover myself back up with the blanket. "Fine, I'll get you after I get Oliver up,"

"No!" I shout defiantly.

I hear Oliver protesting but then it goes silent as Blaiz shuts the door. I can hear muffled talking right before my door opens.

"Come on, Milo, mom wants to meet you,"

I shake my head violently again with the blanket over my head and wrapped around me tightly. "Go away, I'm never leaving this Jeep,"

"Sweet, what did I say about not leaving you again? I don't trust little shits now," Blaiz says with a sigh. "So, either come out of the car, or we'll just have to live in here," I can hear him pat the roof of the Wrangler.
