The Plan

Levi helped me up and I dusted myself off. He quickly ripped apart of his shirt. "What are you doing?" I asked him with a chuckle trying to laugh the pain away. He kneeled down and began to wrap it around my leg. " I know you can tolerate a lot but that doesn't help with how much blood you're loosing" he said as he tied it tightly and I hissed. "Fuck" I cursed at the pain scowling at him.

" they-...probably have a doctor or something in there" I said cringing. He just shook his head got up and wrapped an arm around my waist as we began to walk in or in my case, hobble.

"Maybe that's true, but it wouldn't hurt to cover it up first." He said and I rolled my eyes. We tried to ignore the man with the katana that acted like he owned the place. He glared at us, stressed yet relieved. I bet his heart almost jumped out of his chest when he saw me run.

"But that doesn't mean-..I-...can't walk" I tried to reason and he laughed " Try saying that without sounding like you're in excruciating pain." He chuckled "plus the minute your legs give out you'll look at me, then what?" He said and I just shook my head. As pathetic as it was, it was true.

"HEY!" The man yelled the minute we passed him. He sounded mad. I growled in response. I hated people, except my own. I don't know them and don't trust them, in my books, that means you're completely irrelevant to me. It's just how it is. I assumed he actually was the 'leader' here but that was already over. He addresses to Silas now.

"I need to treat her wound if you want, we can talk later but-" he cut Levi off "we need to talk about the rules here. This isn't a bed n breakfast. We have rules to follow by, especially for you two" The man grumbled trying to sound strong and powerful. Did he think we were here on vacation? Didn't he see all of that? Or is he blind?

"You're rules...don't apply anymore" I told him. "Red!" Levi hissed I rolled my eyes. "If you hadn't noticed-...nothing that comes out of your mouth-...applies anymore. Forget what you knew or-... thought you knew, forget about how things use to be like here, because that's all going to-...change now that Silas is in charge" and with that I hobbled away with Levi by my side.

"You shouldn't have been so rude" Levi scolded me. "There's nothing I said that he didn't already know. He just needed to hear someone say it to let it-" I sighed "sink in a bit"I told him honestly. " We'll have to ask someone where's the doctor or nurse since I don't have my medic bag" he told me sadly. "We'll get more-....stuff" I grunted out, cringing out of pain. The wrapping shifted and blood began to bleed through. The pain was pulsating in my leg, this wasn't a normal bullet.

He looked at me in worry "We need a doctor!" He yelled out practically dragging me. I tried to keep my eyes open but they were getting slightly droopy. People began to crowd and people were saying things that I couldn't understand. It felt like I was in a tunnel and the voices were too far away. Eventually I made it into a gurney.

The woman there were trying to get a good look at my leg. My leg was swelled and my shorts were keeping my blood from properly circulating. I couldn't hear what they were saying but I needed the shorts off or I might have to loose my whole leg. There was a trolley beside me full of doctors tools and a knife. I quickly took it and slashed the side of my shorts.

"OW!" I yelled as I peeled the jean material back to expose the wound. The lady immediately began to assess it. But she was taking too long. The bullet needed to be out now. She poked around obnoxiously leaving me hissing in pain with every poke. She then started to clean the wound I looked at her in disbelief.

"Fuck cleaning it! Get the goddamn bullet out!" I groaned gripping onto the bed sides in pain. She then took two metal tools and began searching for the bullet. I gripped tighter onto the bed shutting my eyes, trying to control my breaths. I was getting light headed, but I needed to stay calm. "I-I can't find the bullet" she said shyly. I looked at her like I was going to smack her fucking brain out of her ear. Because in a few seconds I probably was.
