Chapter 3

"Hey" the boy says running his hand through his dark brown hair. The act is very attractive and makes my body tingle.

" Girls this is Leo Stilinski" OMG my mates name is Leo. He whispers something into Ezra.

"I gotta go! Later girls!" Leo winks at us. My body feels faint and I collapse onto the seat. Lyra sits next to Ezra and cuddles.

"Leo!" I hear Missy call. My eyes enlarge. Elsa sighs. " That man is DATING her?" Kat proclaims." he can do way better. Hopefully there not mates." I stand up.

"They aren't mates!" I scream. And run out of the cafeteria. Everyone stared as I leapt out.

I splash water onto my face as the door to the bathroom opens. It had been empty except for me until now. Lyra comes in.

"Shay... you okay? You've never acted like this before." I glare at her. " Oh no... " I look away as a tear runs down my face. I'm pathetic. " He can't be your mate. Is he?"

" I don't know. I think. But this school is full of werewolves and he is dating Missy so she must be his real mate..." I barely finish the sentence without bursting into tears. I slide down the wall and put my head into my knees and sob.

" They can't be mates. If he's your mate then he is only yours. He must only be dating her" I stop sobbing. " If he felt the same way you did and he knows you're his mate then he will break up with her."

"Okay" I wipe my eyes carefully, weary of smearing my mascara. Lyra is my best friend. She always knows what to say. "Thank you Lyra. " I hug her.

" Come on. Let's go. I miss Ezra."

We go back to the table and there is only a couple of people out there left. Missy and Leo are standing behind Ezra laughing. Not rudely but fun.

I growl when we sit down. Lyra kicks me from under the table. I glare at her and rub my shin.

" Hey meet my girlfriend guys!" Leo exclaims.

"Hi, I'm Missy" she says sweetly, unlike her tone in the bathroom earlier.

"Hey" everyone says in unison.

The lunch bell rings and everyone heads back to their classes. My next class is math with Mr. Foxworth. I don't pay attention at all. No one is in my class that I know. All I can think about is Leo and how I want to rip Missy's neck out.

The bell rings again. Next is science with Mrs. Leaton. I have this class with Leo. He sits down with me, Lyra, and Ezra.

"Hey guys." He says smiling at me.

"Hey Leo, did you want to come over after school?" Ezra asks.

" Course man!" Leo smiles still looking at me. He sits down in the empty seat next to me. My body tingles and I feel numb. I am about to faint. This boy must be my mate. I've never felt like this before. Lyra must know what I was thinking cause she winks at me when Leo and Ezra started talking.

I barely know this boy but he is making me feel like none other. If only he would break up with Missy. That would be perfect. The thought of being with him forever makes my wolf go mad. She is happy that he's here with

me.
