Chapter 5

The next week of school went by quickly. Since Leo was afraid to tell his parents he met his mate I had to sleep alone with Lyra's pills she gave me.

Today's friday the last day of school for the week.

" Whats up buttercup?" Missy asks me in the hall when I'm walking to my class. " A little birdie told me that you've been trying to get with my boyfriend. He doesn't like you so back off"

I turn around and push her up to the lockers holding her by her shirt.

"Shut your mouth. You are just jealous he's my mate and not yours. " I growl at her.

" If he's your mate why hasn't he broke up with me?" she smirks.

I slap her face and run to my next class. Which happens to be science. With Leo and Lyra. Oh and Ezra.

I walk in and take my usual spot next to Leo. He grabs my hand. I pull away and my wolf growls at me.

"What's wrong Shay?" He whispers when Mrs.Leaton isn't looking.

" You haven't broke up with Missy yet?" I growl.

"No... Not yet. " Leo looks ashamed. He should be.

" Whatever." Leo grabs my hand and I don't pull away. His love towards me strengthens me.

"Ill do it today. I promise" he whispers into my ear. " And you can come over and have dinner then I will come home with you. We will tell my parents tonight. " He whispers into my ear.

" Would you like to share that with the class Mr. Stilinski?" Mr Leaton says.

" No sir. " He says. The bell rings and class is over. I cannot believe I'm going over to Leo's.

Leo's P.O.V

I text my mom to tell her we have a guest tonight for dinner.

Leo: mom we are having a guest for dinner tonight.

Mom: who is this 'guest' you speak of child?

Leo: my mate...

Mom: Leo it is not important to have Missy over for dinner.

Leo: it's not Missy mother. It's another girl. I'll see you at dinner.

Mom: did you and Missy break up?

Mom: Leo?

Leo: yes.

"Missy get over here. " I shout at her.

"What's wrong baby?" She purrs. Obviously trying to be sexy but it disgusts me.

"We are over. I thought you'd get the message once I got my mate but you didn't. I'd like you to stay out of mine and Shays life's. " I demand. I feel powerful. Missy was never my choice to date. My father, Alpha of Eclipse Pack, demanded I mate with another alpha offspring. Missy is the daughter of the Shadow Packs Alpha.

"What?!? Your kidding Leo. We have a planned mate practice next month though!" she whines.

" I refuse to be mated to you! You disgusting piece of filth." I scream.

Shay walks past and is pushed down by Missy. Missy starts throwing punches at Shay but she's blocking the blows with her arms. I tackle Missy off of her and I hold her into a choke hold.

" YOU STAY AWAY FROM SHAY YOU HEAR ME?" I scream!

" Whoa whoa! Get off of her Leo!" Mr. Cornland screeches.

I get off of her and fix my jacket. "C'mon Shay let's go. " I call to her.

She jogs up and grasps my hand. "Thank you. " she whispers and kisses my cheek. I can't help it. I've been wanting to kiss her since day one but I haven't since a kiss confirms a mating. I turn her around and lift her up to my lips. Her lips caress mine as I pull her hips closer to me. Her hand flows through my hair and we stop and gasp for air. Her forehead on mine, I look her straight into the eyes.

"Shay Parker... I vow to let nobody hurt you ever. I promise to stay by your side forever. I love you. " I say

" I love you too Leo. " She says smiling.

I kiss her lips again and we start walking toward the car. I can tell this would be a great day.
