LOTTIE'S P.O.V -
"I beg you guys can we please just bunk?" Aana moaned. It was a Friday morning and me and the girls had P.E, that one dreaded lesson which everyone has. Because our school was abit slow on priorities we had P.E at another sports ground, instead of just building one at our school. So, because our form tutor had no idea about timing, we were still sat in the form room. We should have gone with the rest of the class but it was our group’s week to stay in school. It was about five minutes before we had to make our way to the gym but if Aana had anything to do with it, I’m sure we would be sat in the Library because our ‘coaches had left without us’. The librarian was old and annoying; as long as nobody talked to her I doubt she actually cared what was going on. The different groups at different places got confusing so they couldn’t actually prove we were to be in school.
"No, sitting in the bloody library with that old woman is so boring! Plus, let's face it; we're going to get caught! Like Miss isn't going to our whole group isn’t here. You know what she’s like, she’ll probably come to find us or we’ll get in heaps of shit next lesson. Is it really worth Croft’s wrath?” I frowned. Miss Croft was our P.E teacher and she made it quite obvious she hated us. Fair enough we didn’t really try in lesson and we didn’t take her seriously, but with that massive mole on her face it was hard not to laugh.
"Well it's only me and you. Ellie is normally late, so they'll assume she is, even though for once she’s actually here. Ronnie's at a cello lesson and Gabby's at the bloody doctors! By the way, she said to text her where we are." Aana grinned, obviously feeling hopeful. Aana was the worst. She hated P.E, partly because she sucked at nearly every game. She had no interest in any game, she was the person that if the ball came to her she would let it roll straight past without a second glance. Don’t get me wrong, we were like that too but she was obvious with it, we would try a little. Ellie was the sporty one but only if she was in the mood. She was the ‘I don’t care about anything’ type. So, her being late wasn’t anything new or surprising to us or the teachers. I’m sure they had just stopped asking or caring about it. Ron was the clever and perfect one out of us. She took part in all of the extra-curricular activities, she was in all of the top sets in all subjects and she had the perfect record. Quite different from the rest of us. Gabby on the other hand was a lot like Aana, together they were hell. She was clever but like Aana she didn’t really try a lot, but they both still managed to maintain the right grades.
"Great, well right now we're in the form room, looking at each other’s faces. Let’s just go, it’s nine so we might as well.” I muttered, getting up and exiting the classroom. It was cold outside and my hands were turning blue. Not that it was surprising, it was common for me. I always turned pale and blue in the winter. I wrapped my arms around my chest, attempting to keep the warmth in, however today just wasn’t my day. We got to the door of the locker room where Aana kept her kit, which meant we had to come here every week because she couldn’t be bothered to get it before she came to class in the mornings. I gave a weak grin to the girls and slid to the side, waiting for Aana or Ellie to type in the code so we could finally get inside. On every door to get in to any of the buildings they had security codes that you had to use to get in. The code was the same on every door which made it easier but I hated them with a passion. Normally, there was always crowd behind you waiting for you to put in the code and to do it right. So when you accidently missed a number or completely typed it wrong, you had most of the school swearing at you. Luckily, it was only us but I left Aana to type it in.
“Char, I kind of forgot my key.” Aana smirked, shrugging innocently. She was the only one that called me ‘Char’ shortening it down from Charlotte. For some reason she was in capable of keeping her locker key on her so I always kept the spare for when she needed it, which was nearly every day. I passed her the key and she grabbed the bag from her locker.
