"And our gold medalist for this years 2016 summer olympic swimming is.... Perseus Jackson from the USA." A booming voice announced. I clapped and beamed at my teamate and long time crush Percy Jackson. He came running up to me and my teamates.
"Hey Caroline!" He exclaimed. I blushed slightly.
"Great job Perce, I'm so proud of you!" I cried tackling him with a hug. He pulled me over to the side of the pool. My heart was beating a mile a minute.
"I was wondering if you would come to a party at my house tonight, to celebrate?" He asked.
"I'd love to!" I replied.
"Ok great, see you then!" He said. I smiled and waved already thinking of what I was gonna wear for tonights party.

(Later that afternoon)
I paced around my closet thinking about what to wear. Eventually, I decided to dress to impress. I put on on a slim black and gold dress with matching gold high heels.
That night, I curled my hair and placed it in a bun on the very top of my head. I also put on deep lines of eyeliner and blush. I looked at myself in the mirror deeply satasfied and hopped into my car.
I drove up to the house. It was truely spectacular. Bight black iron gates lined the boundaries of the property. A stone paved driveway led up to a modern mansion with traditional columns. The house was unlike anything I'd ever seen.
I walked up to the door and politely knocked. Percy answered the door looking as good as ever, but times ten because he was wearing a suit.
"Hi Caroline." He commented.
"Hi Perce, your house looks amazing!" I said. And you do too, I said in my head. Chattering from the back of the house emitted loudly. I saw some of my friends from the team along a couple people I had never even met before.
I chatted with some of my friends for a while and met a nice guy named Leo. Soon I made my way over to Percy and attempted to flirt.
"So Percy, you look really good in a suit." I commented. I immediately wished I hadn't said that because all of a sudden Percy looked extremely uncomfortable. I quickly walked away and decided to give him some space and then began flirting with him again. I guessed it was working, because Percy pulled me over to a room where no one else was.
I expected him to confess his love for me, but instead, he pulled out an envelope.
"Caroline I was wondering if you wanted to come to me and my fiance's wedding."
I stared at him dumbstruck!
The power couple, Percabeth had just smacked me right on in the face!
