"Come one quickly!" Annabeth shouted. She hurridly escorted me and my sister up a tall steep hill. Upon it sat a very tall grand pine tree with a beautiful golden glittering cloth.
"Annabeth where are you taking us?" I asked. Not that I minded. After all, I might have had the slightest crush on Annabeth, but seeing her worried made my crush grow as she looked even cuter whenever she was distressed.
"There's no time, we have to get you to camp." She muttered. We followed her up for a couple more minutes. My eyes were stinging and my lungs burned from running so hard.
"Were almost there!" Annabeth encouraged. I looked up and stared in awe.
Spread out along a big rolling valley was a blanket of bliss. A big blue house stood strong at the front of the hill. Farther along, sat a cluster of cabins each a unique color and design. They surrounded a glowing hearth where lights from dying embers sparked and illuminated smoke that arose from the fire. A large feild of glistening strawberries shined in the sun. Campers happily chased eachother around the feilds, eating strawberries as they did.
Annabeth's voice brought me down to earth.
"Eric, Lauren welcome to Camp Half-Blood."

Later afternoon
Annabeth explained to me about how the greek myths were true. I wouldn't have believed it myself but anything that came out of Annabeth's mouth convinced me it was real.
I was about to follow Annabeth on a tour of camp when my sisters voice behinde me squealed in surprise.
"What is that?" She screamed pointing above my head. Annabeth whirled around.
"You've been claimed." She said kneeling down on one knee. Her voice rang out over the rolling hills."All hail Eric and Lauren Berkely, children of Hermes."

After being claimed, Annabeth showed me around camp.
"So this is the sword fighting arena." She explained. I followed her in.
"Here want to try one out?" She asked. I nodded. Annabeth went through showing me some basic moves.
"Youre really good!" I told her. She blushed.
"Thanks, but now let's see how good you are, hm maybe you should fight someone easy like Will or Leo." She muttered. A voice from behinde me yelled.
"Am I easy enough for him Wisegirl." I turned around and saw a boy with messy black hair and bright swirling sea green eyes. I have to admit, even by my standards he was pretty attractive. I looked back at Annabeth and saw her eyes light up.
"Maybe a little to easy." She said jokingly. The boy with black hair winked at her. This got me a slightly annoyed.
"Eric meet Percy." Annabeth told me. I shook his hand and almost yelped out from the pain of his grip.
"So how about we do a little sparring to see what your made of." Percy smiled.
"Sure why not." I replied. I was so gonna crush this Percy dude, whoever he was. I quickly attacked with the left side of my sword but Percy easily parried. In one swift movement, I felt the tip of his sword against my chest. I leaped away and my sword clattered to the ground. Percy looked at me smugely. Now this dude was seriously starting to get on my nerves. I was about to full on punch him in the face when a girl with choppy brown hair ran up to us.
"Percy, Leo needs you he and one of his inventions broke the water system in the Hepheastus cabin." The girl said.
"Ok see ya wisegirl." Percy said walking away. I mean seriously, talk about bad nicknames. Hate and anger bubbled up inside me. I was gonna show Percy what I was really made of.

That evening at the dining pavilion, I got up and stood on the table. Two of my brothers Travis and Connor had convinced me to ask Annabeth out and ever since then they had acted like I was going to die.
"Um hi everyone, I'm new here at camp half blood and I just wanted to tell you all how much I'm in love." A chorus of sqeals emerged from the Aphrodite tables. "The person I'm in loverwith, well she's beautiful, and I just wanted to ask her, Annabeth Chase will you go out with me." the Aphrodite girls stopped sqealing. No one said a thing. I looked over at Annabeth who glared at me. All of a sudden I heard a gruff voice shout "No one breaks up Percabeth!" Right after that, I felt the red squishy pulp of a tomato hit below my neck.
After that, all Hades broke lose. Food went flying at me. I ducked and ran back to the Hermes cabin. Where I met Percy. Well this was just getting better and better. "Oh hey Eric what's up?" he asked casually. I was stunned. Shouldn't he be mad.
"A-aren't you mad?" I said.
"Awe yeah I'm really actually furious, I just know that my girlfriend can take care of idiots like you by herself." And unfortuately, that was the time I met Percabeth.
