Moment of silence

Here's a moment of silence for those who never made it, for those who said they just couldn't take it

What they did was take a knife, drink some pills, wrap a rope around their necks, only wishing they were dead

It was all the monsters in their heads

They would lay down in their beds-

And then what?

Seconds, minutes, hours

Go by and they're just laying there

Thinking

Thinking about this cruel world, thinking about how good it would feel to slice their throats

For them there was no hope

Soon enough they'll get their wish and finish things

Soon enough their hearts will stop and ours will drop

Tell me, when will this shit stop?!

Suicide is something everyone tries to hide

Most of the time I find it to be those with the biggest smiles

Now why don't you take a second or two to tell me if this could be you?

I haven't forgotten what this is-

A moment of silence

But all I've done is spit some words around and try to rhyme, I promise I'm not tryna waste your time

Those who wish they were dead have all these different thoughts in their heads

You can take everything I just said and multiply it by any number

A single second of silence for someone with this mind set could be filled with triple the number of thoughts, and most of us are here just thinking about the new shoes we bought

This isn't even the beginning to being suicidal

All those people had a chance to live their lives, but were stuck on survival
